WESTBROOK — Ben Malloy scored 16 points and Dustin Cole added 15 to lead Bonny Eagle to a 61-37 win over Westbrook in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Friday night.

Nathan Alexander chipped in with 14 points for Bonny Eagle (5-0), which outscored Westbrook 17-7 in the second quarter to break open a tie game.

Westbrook (1-4) was led by Aquai Alexander with 14 points.

PORTLAND 79, SOUTH PORTLAND 49: Travis Godbout made six 3-pointers on his way to 21 points, leading the Bulldogs (5-0) at South Portland (2-3).

Godbout knocked down three 3s in the first quarter, when Portland took a 24-10 lead.

Jayvon Pitts-Young added 18 points and Matt Talbot had 10 for the Bulldogs.

Jaren Muller scored 12 points for South Portland.

SCARBOROUGH 75, MASSABESIC 70: Nate Wessel scored 29 points, Milani Hicks had 21 and the Red Storm (4-1) edged the Mustangs (1-3) at Waterboro.

Matt Hartl added 16 points for Scarborough.

Daniel Amabile scored 22 points and Cale Thornton had 16 for Massabesic.

WINDHAM 61, GORHAM 40: Spencer Hodge scored 15 points and collected six assists to lift the Eagles (2-3) over the Rams (2-2) at Windham.

Markus D’Andrea and Kevin Weisser added 11 points apiece. D’Andrea also had five assists and four steals.

Gorham was led by Sam Kilborn with 14 points.

THORNTON ACADEMY 67, SANFORD 49: Quinn Richardson-Newton scored 22 points, Corey Hart and Evan Wright each had 12 and the Golden Trojans (2-2) beat the Spartans (1-4) at Saco.

John Morgan had 22 points for Sanford, which trailed 38-23 at halftime.

MARSHWOOD 68, BIDDEFORD 37: Jack Letellier scored 12 points to lead four players in double figures for the Hawks (2-3) as they pulled away from the Tigers (0-5) in the second half at South Berwick.

Drew Bartlett, Nick Dalecki and Brady Innes added 10 points apiece for Marshwood, which outscored Biddeford 21-7 in the third quarter to extend an eight-point halftime lead.

The Tigers were paced by Corey Creeger with 22 points, including three 3-pointers.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 59, SACOPEE VALLEY 35: Isaac LaCroix scored 20 points and the Guardians (3-1) shot 19 of 25 from the free-throw line in a win over the Hawks (1-3) at South Berwick.

Sky Archer added 11 points and Caleb LaCroix had 10.

Alex Fenderson and Blake Truworthy scored 11 points apiece for Sacopee Valley.
