With the impending snow storm expected to drop as much as 2 feet of snow in some parts of Maine, many sports events have already been postponed or rescheduled.

Below is a listing of what we know so far and we will update this story when more information is available.

— State championship wrestling, scheduled for Saturday at the Augusta Civic Center, has been postponed to Saturday, Feb. 16. The tournaments will now be held at three sites: Class A at Sanford’s Memorial Gym; Class B at Fryeburg Academy; Class C at Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft. All three meets will start at 9:30 a.m.

— State cheering, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Monday at the Bangor Auditorium.  Competition will start at 4:30 p.m.

— Western Maine Conference track, scheduled for Friday at USM, has been rescheduled for Monday, 4 p.m. at USM.

— North Southwestern swim championships, scheduled for Friday (boys) and Saturday (girls), have been postponed and rescheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

— The Portland Pirates game at Providence on Friday has been rescheduled for Monday.

— Bowdoin College has shuffled its weekend schedule. Its men’s and women’s basketball will now travel to Connecticut for games on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, the Polar Bears will play at Connecticut College in New London, with the men starting at 5 p.m. and the women at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the teams will play at Wesleyan in Middelton, Conn., the men starting at 2 p.m. and the women at 4 p.m.

Bowdoin’s men’s hockey team had its game at Wesleyan scheduled for Friday postponed to Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

The women’s ice hockey team has moved its starting time for Friday’s game with Hamilton to 5 p.m.

— Cape Elizabeth and Greely will now play their games Thursday instead of Friday. The girls game at Cape Elizabeth will start at 5:30 p.m., the boys game in Cumberland will start at 7 p.m.

— Cheverus High has postponed its boys’ ice hockey game on Saturday against Windham/SV. The game will now be played on Feb. 18 at 1:45 p.m. at the Portland Ice Arena.

— The 2013 New England Alliance Indoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Southern Maine’s Costello Sports Complex has been postponed from Saturday to Sunday. The meet will start at 2 p.m. Teams and fans are asked to not arrive before 1 p.m.

— The University of Southern Maine has rescheduled its men’s and women’s ice hockey games.

The men’s game scheduled for Friday with UMass-Boston has been postponed to Sunday, 7 p.m.. The men’s game scheduled for Saturday with Babson College will be next Monday at 3 p.m.

The women’s game with Castleton State scheduled for Friday has been postponed to Sunday at 4 p.m. The women’s game with New England College on Saturday has been rescheduled for Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.

— Colby College in Waterville has altered its weekend schedule.

Both men’s and women’s basketball games at Connecticut College scheduled for Friday have been postponed to Sunday, with the men playing at 2 p.m. and the women at 4 p.m. The teams will still play at Wesleyan on Saturday, but the times have been changed, with the women starting at 5 p.m. and the men at 7 p.m.

The women’s hockey team has changed its home games with Wesleyan. Friday’s game has been postponed to Sunday at 3 p.m. Saturday’s starting time has been pushed back to 7 p.m.

— The Maine Red Claws are scheduled to play Bakersfield on Friday at 7 p.m. and that game is still on.
