After weekend in Phoenix, Klinkhammer returns to Pirates

The Phoenix Coyotes reassigned veteran forward Rob Klinkhammer to the Portland Pirates, their AHL affiliate.

Klinkhammer, who leads the AHL team in total points with 14 goals and 30 assists, was called up to the NHL last Friday. He didn’t suit up for the Coyotes’ 5-4 shootout win over Anaheim on Saturday night.
