VESTAL, N.Y. — Lauren Bodine led all scorers with 21 points, including six 3-pointers, as the University of Maine earned a 64-51 win over Binghamton in an America East women’s basketball game Saturday afternoon.

Maine (8-8, 2-1 America East) trailed by three at halftime but opened the second half with a 12-2 run and held the Bearcats (4-12, 1-2) to 16 second-half points.

Ashleigh Roberts added 16 points and nine rebounds.

BOWDOIN 65, WESLEYAN 45: Sara Binkhorst scored five of her 15 points during an opening 11-3 run, and the Polar Bears (14-1, 2-0 NESCAC) never trailed in a win over the Cardinals (10-4, 1-1) at Brunswick.

Anna Prohl and Megan Phelps added 11 points apiece for Bowdoin, which put the game out of reach with an 11-0 run midway through the second half that extended their lead to 19 points.

ST. JOSEPH’S 74, ANNA MARIA 55: Abby Young scored 17 points off the bench and Lindsay Moore chipped in with 15 to lead the Monks (9-3, 1-0 GNAC) past the Amcats (5-7, 0-1) at Paxton, Mass.

UNE 59, NICHOLS 33: Lauren Hayden had nine points, 12 rebounds and a school-record 10 steals as the Nor’easters (10-1, 6-0 Commonwealth Coast) cruised past the Bison (7-5, 2-4) at Biddeford.

SOUTHERN MAINE 78, UMASS-DARTMOUTH 54: Erin McNamara scored 17 points as the Huskies (9-4, 2-1 Little East) downed the Corsairs (7-5, 1-2) at Gorham.

Megan Pelletier and Gretchen Anderson added 14 points apiece.

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 72, COLBY 67: Desi Smith scored 27 points for Colby (5-9, 0-2 NESCAC) in a loss to the Camels (8-6, 1-1) at Waterville.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

MARYLAND-BALTIMORE COUNTY 79, MAINE 76: The Retrievers (5-11, 1-2 America East) used an 8-2 spurt in the last five minutes to beat the Black Bears (3-12, 1-2) at Catonsville, Md.

Zarko Valjarevic paced Maine with 24 points.

ST. JOSEPH’S 80, ANNA MARIA 57: Matt Medeiros made five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points as the Monks (6-6, 5-0 GNAC) cruised past the Amcats (3-9, 1-4) at Paxton, Mass.

Steve Simonds added 14 points for the Monks, who took control with a 22-3 run over the final seven minutes of the first half.

BOWDOIN 63, WESLEYAN 54: Andrew Madlinger scored 16 points, Keegan Pieri and John Swords each added 12 points apiece and Matt Mathias had 11 for the Polar Bears (12-0, 2-0 NESCAC) in a victory over Wesleyan (6-7, 0-2) at Brunswick.

NICHOLS 77, UNE 57: Former Lake Region High player Matt Langadas scored 16 points, all in the first half, to lead the Bison (8-4, 5-1 Commonwealth Coast) past the Nor’easters (1-12, 1-5) at Biddeford.

Joshua Butler and Brayden Morse each scored 11 points for UNE.

UMASS-DARTMOUTH 73, SOUTHERN MAINE 57: The Huskies (5-8, 1-2 Little East) got 18 points from Conor Sullivan and 14 from James Odneal in a loss to the Corsairs (8-4, 2-1) at Gorham.

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 82, COLBY 74: Ryan Jann scored 20 points for Colby (7-5, 1-1 NESCAC) in a loss to the Camels (7-6, 1-1) at Waterville.

SOUTHERN MAINE 3, ST. ANSELM 3: Zack Dymock scored his second goal of the game on a power play with 1:32 left in regulation as USM (4-7-4, 3-5-1 ECAC East) tied St. Anselm (5-5-3, 3-3-3) at Manchester, N.H.

COLBY 2, HAMILTON 1: Ben Chwick scored on assists from Jack Burton and Jack Bartlett 4:42 into the second period to give the Mules (7-4-3, 4-3-1 NESCAC) a 2-0 lead, and they held on to edge the Continentals (3-7-1, 2-5-1) at Waterville.

BOWDOIN 4, AMHERST 2: Matt Rubinoff and Harry Matheson scored short-handed goals a minute apart in the third period, lifting the Polar Bears (8-3-2, 4-3-1 NESCAC) over the Jeffs (7-5, 5-3) at Brunswick.

NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE 3, UNE 0: Scott Cornfield and Kevin Marceau scored in the final four minutes of the first period to lead the Pilgrims (10-4, 6-3 ECAC East) past the Nor’easters (5-10-1, 2-7) at Henniker, N.H.

UNE goalie Colby Drost finished with 31 saves.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

BOWDOIN 5, CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 4: Mallory Andrews and Rachel Kennedy each had a goal and two assists for the Polar Bears (6-5, 2-2 NESCAC), who built a 5-1 lead and held off the Camels (5-5-2, 1-3-2) in the final eight minutes at New London, Conn.

Chelsea MacNeil, Ariana Bourque and Schuyler Nardelli also scored for Bowdoin.

Yarmouth’s Courtney Dumont had a hat trick for Connecticut.

SALVE REGINA 3, UNE 2: Courtney Kendall made 47 saves for the Nor’easters (5-7-3), but the Seahawks (7-5-2) scored two of their three power-play goals in the final 5:31 to rally for a victory in the consolation match of the Rutland Herald Invitational at Rutland, Vt.

UNE grabbed a 2-1 lead on goals by Emily Corrales and Gabby Crugnale in the first 12:03 of the third period.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY 5, MAINE 3: Sarah Lefort and Louise Warren scored third-period goals, allowing the visiting Terriers (16-4-1, 9-1 Hockey East) to beat the Black Bears (2-14-5, 0-8-3) despite being held to 14 shots.

Audra Richards had two goals and an assist for Maine. Brianne Kilgour also scored.

AMHERST 2, COLBY 1: Kailey Buxbaum scored the only goal for Colby (4-6-1, 2-4 NESCAC) in a loss to the Jeffs (8-2-2, 5-0-1) at Amherst, Mass.
