Pirates fall to Wolf Pack

Portland gives up three second-period goals in a 3-2 loss to Hartford and remains winless

LEWISTON — Conor Allen, Michael Haley and Danny Kristo scored second-period goals to lead the Hartford Wolf Pack to a 3-2 win against the Portland Pirates at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee Saturday night.

Gilbert Brule and Andy Miele scored for the Pirates, who dropped to a 0-2-0-1. Brandon Yip had two assists

Hartford goalie Cam Talbot, who has started every game for the Wolf Pack, made 39 saves to run his record to 5-0-0-1.
