Portland Pirates make roster moves

The Pirates signed veteran forward Gilbert Brule, among other transactions.

The Portland Pirates signed veteran forward Gilbert Brule on Friday to a professional tryout contract.

In another move, the NHL parent Phoenix Coyotes assigned defenseman Chris Summers to the Pirates.

Also, forward Keven Veilleux has been assigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators after spending the last three weeks with the AHL team.
