Rain in Maine puts Sea Dogs out of the game

PORTLAND — The Portland Sea Dogs were rained out again Monday as their scheduled 7 p.m. game was postponed because of wet conditions.

Monday's game with the Trenton Thunder will be made up as part of a double-header on Aug. 31 at Hadlock Field.

The Sea Dogs and Thunder are already scheduled to play a double-header Tuesday at 6 p.m. Tuesday's extra game is a makeup from the April 6 game at Hadlock, which was postponed because of wet field conditions.

The weather has not been kind to the Sea Dogs. Their previous two games, June 25-26, were also not completed because of rain.
