NAPLES — Tiana-Jo Carter had 20 points and 11 rebounds Friday night to lead Lake Region to a 52-34 victory against Greely in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl basketball game.

Lake Region (13-1) led 23-13 at halftime after outscoring Greely 15-6 in the second quarter.

Ashley Storey paced Greely (10-3) with 15 points.

YORK 36, CAPE ELIZABETH 35: Shannon Todd grabbed a rebound off a missed foul shot, drove the length of the court and scored with 1.7 seconds left to complete a come-from-behind victory for the Wildcats (9-4) against Cape Elizabeth (8-5) at York.

After Mia Briggs of York made it 34-34 with 20 seconds left, the Capers went ahead on a foul shot by Kate Miklivic. But a miss on the second shot set up Todd for the winning play.

Cape led 22-13 at halftime, but Todd scored seven of her team-high 11 points in the fourth quarter.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 39, ACADIA CHRISTIAN 19: Angela Jones scored 10 points to lead Greater Portland Christian (5-9) over Acadia Christia (0-10) at Saco.

Ashlee Dawson added eight points and six rebounds for the Lions.

MARANACOOK 37, MEDOMAK VALLEY 34: Sarah Clough made two free throws with four seconds left to give Maranacook (10-5) a three-point lead against Medomak Valley (9-5) at Waldoboro.

WESTBROOK 46, NOBLE 22: Alisha Aube and Lexi Redmond scored 12 points apiece to lead the Blue Blazes (4-10) over the Knights (0-14) at Westbrook.

Redmond was 10 of 10 from the foul line, and Aube made three 3-pointers.

WAYNFLETE 59, TRAIP ACADEMY 57: Emily Wasserman made a layup after grabbing an offensive rebound to give the Flyers (7-5) the lead with one minute left in overtime against the Rangers (3-9) at Kittery.

Helen Gray-Bauer led four players in double figures for Waynflete with 14 points. Arianna Giguere added 12 points on four 3-pointers.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 51, WELLS 40: Julia Quinn hit two of her three 3-pointers in the first quarter as the Raiders (7-6) grabbed a 12-6 lead and went on to defeat the Warriors (12-2) at Fryeburg.

Quinn finished with 13 points and four steals, Alexis L’Heureux-Carland scored 19 points, and Skye Dole had six points and 16 rebounds.

SOUTH PORTLAND 51, WINDHAM 33: Maddie Hasson scored 14 points, and the Red Riots (11-3) used a 31-2 run spanning the last three quarters to put away the Eagles (10-4) at South Portland.

Windham held a 17-15 lead in the second quarter before South Portland started its tear. The Red Riots scored the last eight points of the second, then outscored the Eagles 21-2 in the third.

DEERING 49, SCARBOROUGH 44: The Rams (6-8) got a key 3-pointer from Katasia Titherington and four free throws from Courtney Brett in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Red Storm (6-8) at Portland.

Titherington finished with 22 points.

FALMOUTH 48, KENNEBUNK 28: Dayna Vasconcelos and Kayla Walsh each scored 10 points as the Yachtsmen (4-9) handled the Rams (0-14) at Falmouth.

THORNTON ACADEMY 52, BONNY EAGLE 24: Ashley Howe and Kaitlyn McCrum scored 11 points apiece to lead the Golden Trojans (11-2) past the Scots (4-10) at Saco.

Howe also had six rebounds and four assists, and Olivia Shaw chipped in with eight points, six rebounds, three steals and four blocks.

SANFORD 51, BIDDEFORD 33: Shelby Paiement scored 20 points to lead the Spartans (6-8) over the Tigers (2-10) at Biddeford.

Morgan Fogg added seven of her 16 points in the fourth quarter for Sanford. Carissa Gelinas led Biddeford with 13 points.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 57, BOOTHBAY 42: Nicole Hamblin scored 17 points to pace a balanced offense for the Phoenix (14-0) against the Seahawks (6-9) at Jay.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 52, WISCASSET 34: Sidney Wilson scored 15 points for Monmouth Academy (9-5) against the Wolverines (3-11) at Wiscasset.

LAWRENCE 52, MT. ARARAT 29: Paige Belanger scored 18 points for Lawrence (12-2) against Mt. Ararat (3-12) at Fairfield.

YARMOUTH 45, FREEPORT 38: Lane Simsarian scored 13 points to lead the Clippers (4-10) over Freeport (4-9) at Yarmouth.

Freshman Cory Langenbach added 10 points for Yarmouth. Nina Davenport led the Falcons with 17.

BRUNSWICK 53, LEWISTON 39: Lyse Henshaw made five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead the Dragons (9-5) past the Blue Devils (4-11) at Brunswick.

HOCKEY

BRUNSWICK 6, PORTLAND/DEERING 1: Tess Cassidy had three goals and an assist to lead the Dragons (2-12-1) past the Bulldogs (7-9) at Brunswick.

Ashley Hartford added a goal and two assists, and Claire Mendes made 24 saves for Brunswick.
