YARMOUTH — Ashley Richardson scored in the first half and Livvy Dimick stopped 13 shots as fifth-seeded Freeport upended No. 4 Yarmouth 1-0 in a Western Class B girls’ soccer quarterfinal Tuesday night.

The Falcons (10-5) move on to face top-seeded Cape Elizabeth in a quarterfinal Saturday.

Shannon Fallon made four saves for Yarmouth (8-4-3).

YORK 5, MORSE 1: Maddie Amidon finished with two goals and an assist as the sixth-seeded Wildcats (6-6-3) beat the third-seeded Shipbuilders (9-4-2) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Bath.

Amidon scored unassisted in the 13th minute. Sophie Sreden tied it in the 25th minute for Morse.

York then went ahead 4-1 within the first 15 minutes of the second half on goals by Amidon, Sierra Swasey and Charlotte Reilly. Shannon Todd set up the first two and Amidon assisted Reilly.

Elaine Cavalieri put in a pass from Jess Foggarty with about 15 minutes left for the final goal.

Emma Rohrer stopped three shots for the win. Alesha Aucoin made nine saves for Morse.

GREELY 6, LEAVITT 0: Jocelyn Mitiguy scored three times to lead the second-seeded Rangers (10-4-1) past the No. 7 Hornets (6-8-2) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Cumberland.

Kristina Volta, Anja Russell and Allie Morrill also scored, and Izzy Hutnak had two assists for Greely.

Elyse Dinan made three saves for the shutout.

CAPE ELIZABETH 4, POLAND 0: Kate Breed scored on a penalty kick and added an assist, and Mary Perkins made three saves to help the top-seeded Capers (12-2-1) win at home in a Western Class B quarterfinal against the eighth-seeded Knights (7-9).

Cape Elizabeth led 3-0 at the half on goals by Sarah O’Conner, Breed and Elise Flathers. Kathryn Clark chipped in a second-half goal.

Haley Whitworth stopped 10 shots for Poland.

MT. ARARAT 1, CONY 0: Erin Tome scored at 1:20 of overtime to give the No. 2 Eagles (13-2) an Eastern Class A quarterfinal win over the seventh-seeded Rams (7-7-1) at Topsham.

Mt. Ararat outshot Cony 33-5, but Autumn Sudsbury made 23 saves to keep the Rams in it.

Kate Guerin earned her eighth shutout for the Eagles.

BRUNSWICK 4, OXFORD HILLS 0: Julia Champagne scored two goals and Haley Murano stopped six shots as the fourth-seeded Dragons (10-4-1) downed the fifth-seeded Vikings (8-5-2) in an Eastern Class A quarterfinal at Brunswick.

Anna Cowan and Lena Martin also scored, while Champagne, Emily Black and Alicia Davis recorded an assist.

Sam Bickford made 10 saves for Oxford Hills.

MT. DESERT ISLAND 2, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Opal Curtis scored a pair of goals to lead the sixth-seeded Trojans (11-4-1) to an Eastern Class B quarterfinal victory over the third-seeded Windjammers (11-2-2) at Rockport.

WAYNFLETE 1, WISCASSET 0: Ella Millard put home the deciding kick and Juliana Harwood stopped two of the Wolverines’ bids as the fifth-seeded Flyers (12-2-2) used a 4-3 edge in penalty kicks to win a Western Class C quarterfinal at No. 4 Wiscasset (12-3-1).

SACOPEE VALLEY 2, MADISON 1: Abby Hughes scored a little more than five minutes into overtime to lift the 10th-seeded Hawks (7-8) past the second-seeded Bulldogs (11-2-2) in a Western Class C quarterfinal at Madison.

Madison led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Kayla Bess, but the Hawks tied it when Jade Jordan scored with 20 minutes left in regulation.

Savanna Kandiko had 15 saves for Madison.

ST. DOM’S 1, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Faith Grady scored an unassisted goal with 26 minutes left in the first half, and the top-seeded Saints (13-1-1) held on for a Western Class C quarterfinal win at Auburn.

Mikayla Cameron had nine saves for ninth-seeded Monmouth (8-6-1). Saints keeper Kelly Pomerleau also made nine saves.

HERMON 4, WINSLOW 0: Kaitlin Saulter scored two goals, including one just three minutes into the game, and the second-seeded Hawks (15-0) rolled past No. 7 Winslow (9-6-1) in an Eastern Class B quarterfinal at Hermon.

BOYS

SCARBOROUGH 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Wyatt Omsberg and Sam Cekada scored second-half goals, Pat Stanton made six saves and the top-seeded Red Storm (14-1) got past the No. 8 Red Riots (8-6-1) in a Western Class A quarterfinal at Scarborough.

Omsberg scored on a free kick 10 minutes into the second half. Cekada scored with an assist from Matt Caron 20 minutes later.

Henry Curran stopped 13 shots for South Portland.
