Erin Brayden, Thornton, senior first base: A premier hitter, the lefty-swinging Brayden hit over .600 with power, did not strike out all season, and was SMAA first team as a junior.

Elyse Dinan, Greely, senior third base: Experienced player and co-captain provides consistency and all-around ability in what is expected to be a deep lineup.

Abby Dubois, Old Orchard Beach, senior, shortstop: All-around athlete is returning WMC all-conference shortstop, bats leadoff and sets tone for the Seagulls.

Brooke Dugan, Oceanside, senior, third base: Combining speed and gap power, team captain hit .587 with three HRs as a junior for Class B champs.

Abby Farrin, Lincoln Academy, junior, pitcher: All-KVAC as a sophomore got Eagles to the West quarterfinal and finished 10-6.

Laurine German, South Portland, junior infielder: Slick-fielding speedster who hit .460 and stole 10 bases while playing second. May move to short this season.

Stephanie Greaton, Gray-NG, senior pitcher: Allowed seven runs in four playoff games, including a 2-1 playoff upset of strong-hitting Cape and 2-1 loss to Greely in West final.

Sarah Harriman, Fryeburg, senior pitcher: All-Telegram pick as junior had 0.72 ERA and 150 strikeouts in 107 innings and hit .471 with 12 extra-base hits. Is coming off shoulder surgery.

Rebecca Howell, Bonny Eagle, senior first base: Led Scots with .400 average. She shifts from catcher to first this season for top-four caliber team.

Kallie Hutchinson, Yarmouth, junior catcher: Strong-armed and defensively sound, Hutchinson limits opposing running attacks. With good power at the plate, she’ll look to increase contact rate.

Olivia Indorf, South Portland, senior pitcher/OF: Hit .630 last year. This year will be counted on to be primary pitcher after being No. 2 option behind Erin Bogdanovich.

Amber Kelly, Noble, senior pitcher: A top-five pitcher last season in the SMAA, going 11-2 with 93 strikeouts in 82 innings and 1.96 ERA. Also hit .367.

Kylie Martin, Poland, junior pitcher: Combines with junior Kolby Woods and junior catcher Kelsey Deburra to form an experienced battery on an otherwise young team.

Megan Murrell, Scarborough, senior catcher: Strong defensive catcher who has signed a letter of intent to play at Saint Anselm College. Played her best in playoffs and finished with .350 average.

Emma O’Rourke, Cape Elizabeth, senior third base: A first team All-WMC pick as a left fielder, will move to third. Hit .400 a year ago.

Abbie Paquette, Biddeford, junior pitcher/infielder: Carried pitching load and earned Second team all-SMAA as sophomore and is Tigers’ top hitter with home-run power.

Allison Pike, Bonny Eagle, senior pitcher: Four-year starter on mound has improved in offseason after leading Scots to a 10-5-1 record. Pike also hit .360.

Katie Taylor, Noble, junior outfield: Second team All-SMAA pick scored 22 runs while driving in 16 with a .333 batting average as a sophomore. Fluid athlete.

Ashley Tinsman, Cape Elizabeth, junior shortstop: Verbally committed to Maine after being named WMC Player of the Year and hitting .534 with six homers (and seven home runs as freshman). Strong arm and superior range on defense.

Julia Treadwell, Falmouth, sophomore pitcher/first base: Went 5-4 on the mound, and hit .327 with two HRs and team-high 13 RBI as Falmouth (9-7) posted its first winning season in 10 years.

Bailey Tremblay, Thornton, junior pitcher: Entering her third year as Thornton’s top starter and also hit over .500 as a sophomore. First team All-SMAA as sophomore.

Katelyn Tucker, Windham, senior pitcher: Starting pitcher and team’s leading hitter as freshman (second team All-SMAA) and sophomore, Tucker had her junior year cut short by ACL tear in fourth game. Has looked strong in preseason.

Mykaela Twitchell, Greely, senior first base: One of many powerful Ranger hitters, Twitchell showed potential with homers in final two games of regular season as junior.

Alyssa Williamson, Scarborough, senior pitcher: Beat Skowhegan 9-3 in state title game and has already committed to Drexel. Was 14-0 with 0.70 ERA and hit .422 with six homers as junior. Hasn’t struck out in two seasons.
