CASTLETON ST. 5, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 4: Madyson Martin scored two goals, including the game-winner with 8:21 left in regulation, as the Spartans (2-2) beat the Nor'easters (1-3) at Biddeford.

Casey Clark and Hannah Tavella scored two goals apiece for the Nor'easters.

ST. JOSEPH'S 2, SALVE REGINA 1: Elizabeth O'Neal and Rachelle Messuri scored for the Monks (4-0) in a win over the Seahawks (1-4) at Middletown, R.I.

HAMILTON 1, BATES 0: Eva Rosencrans scored with 9:42 left in the second half to lift the Continentals (1-2, 1-1) to a NESCAC win over the Bobcats (1-3, 0-2) at Clinton, N.Y.

TUFTS 3, COLBY 0: Emily Cannon and Chelsea Yogerst scored goals and the Jumbos (3-0, 2-0 NESCAC) beat the Mules (2-1, 1-1) at Medford, Mass.

AMHERST 4, BOWDOIN 2: Annika Nygren scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Lord Jeffs (1-2, 1-1 NESCAC) scored three unanswered goals during a 12 minute stretch in the second half to rally past the Polar Bears (2-1, 1-1) in a game at Amherst, Mass.

SOFTBALL

SMCC 5, NHTI 4: Kathryn Gilio scored on a walk-off single by Lindsey St. Claire in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Seawolves (1-0) rallied for a win at South Portland.

BASEBALL

SMCC 6, NHTI 1: Alex Brown hit a two-run homer and Dan French gave up two hits and struck out six over seven innings to lead the Seawolves (2-2) to a win at South Portland.
