LEWISTON - Katherine Dumoulin scored on a rebound 4:19 into overtime Saturday to give Biddeford a 4-3 win over St. Dominic in a girls' hockey game at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.
The winning goal came moments after Biddeford (2-1) successfully killed a penalty against Dumoulin, a freshman. After the penalty expired, the Tigers went on the attack, and Darcie Fisher took a shot that was stopped by goalie Taylor Fillebrown. Dumoulin collected the rebound, however, and knocked it past Fillebrown for her second goal of the game.
Despite playing with only eight skaters, St. Dom's (0-2) erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period on a pair of goals by Kayla McLellan.
Tia Rotolico also scored for the Saints, and Fillebrown, a freshman, finished with 28 saves.
Biddeford's Cassie Ellis stopped 26 shots. Ann-Marie Rowe gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead in the second period, and Tiffany Gagne made it 3-1 early in the third.
