SOUTH HIRAM — D.J. Nicholas scored three goals to reach 30 for the season and help undefeated North Yarmouth Academy to a 4-3 victory against Sacopee Valley in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy soccer game Wednesday.

Trey Watson scored twice for Sacopee (6-3-4), which rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit, tying it on Justin Ray’s goal with 33:03 to play.

Nicholas put NYA (13-0) back in front six minutes later, than made it 4-2 with 22 minutes left.

Jackson Cohan-Smith also scored for the Panthers.

WAYNFLETE 1, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Isaac Scher scored his first goal of the season with a shot from the left wing with 14:03 left as Waynflete (8-2-1) beat Traip Academy (3-9-1) at Portland.

Harry Baker-Connick had two saves in his first-ever start in goal for the Flyers (8-2-1). Colin Macomber recorded 10 saves for Traip (3-9-1).

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 6, WELLS 0: Tyler St. Pierre had two goals and two assists, and Austin Carson also scored as the Patriots (5-6-2) rolled past the Warriors (3-10) at Gray.

Jesse Ricardi and Tommy Cogswell also scored. Noah Lobozzo and Spencer Harriman had two assists apiece.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 8, A.R. GOULD 3: Andrew Alvarez and Kenny Sweetser scored three goals each as Pine Tree Academy (11-1) downed A.R. Gould (4-7) at South Portland.

Andrew Goorhuis added two goals for Pine Tree.

Chris Thomas scored in each half and Michael Schlotterback also scored for A.R. Gould

Ryan Pierce made 13 saves for the Breakers. Dariyin Wolfe stopped 10 shots for A.R. Gould.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, YORK 1: Noah Haversat scored on a penalty kick with 12:22 remaining to lift the Capers (4-5-4) over the Wildcats (3-4-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

After Connor Thoreck gave Cape Elizabeth a 1-0 halftime lead, Michael Gallagher tied it at 7:20 of the second.

POLAND 0, FREEPORT 0: Zak Lowe had four saves for Poland (2-8-2) and Brendan Qualls made two for the Falcons (4-6-2) at Freeport.

FALMOUTH 1, KENNEBUNK 0: Luke Velas scored after five minutes and Will D’Agostino made five saves to lead the Yachtsmen (6-4-2) over the Rams (5-5-3) at Falmouth.

Ben Wilson stopped one shot for the Rams.

MARANACOOK 1, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Alec Daigle scored from Taylor Wilbur and Brad Worster had three saves to help the Black Bears (12-0-2) tie the Windjammers (11-0-1) at Rockport.

Zach Pitcairn scored for Camden Hills.
