The Riverside Athletic Center hosts a year-round adult pickup soccer game on Monday evenings from 8 to 10. Cost is $10 per night. The Athletic Center is located at 1173 Riverside St. in Portland.
The Bonny Eagle High School girls' basketball team will host "Shoot for a Cure" on Saturday to benefit the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer program. Students in grades 5-12 will collect pledges for the amount of successful foul shots. The team will also be raising funds at its home game against McAuley on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. To participate in the program or for more information, contact varsity girls' coach Suzanne Rondeau at 712-7904.
