• The UMaine women's basketball team will be hosting a Play4Kay game at 1 p.m. Saturday against Albany to raise money for the Play4Kay Foundation. The team announced that the top donation received by noon Wednesday will be awarded a spot as honorary coach on the bench. To make a donation, visit www.Play4Kay.org/MaineBlackBears.
• The USM men's lacrosse team will host its second annual boys' lacrosse clinic for players in grades 3-8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Costello Sports Complex Field House in Gorham.
The cost is $35 per player. Participants are required to bring full pads, basketball/tennis shoes (no cleats) and a mouth guard. For more information, contact USM Coach Sam Lane at slane@usm.maine.edu.
