Portland Rugby Football Club will host a Winter Rugby Academy to introduce Maine athletes to the sport. The workshop will be held on Saturdays at Reiche Elementary School from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17-March 9.
The academy is free and open to adults. No equipment is necessary other than sneakers and normal gym attire. Drop-ins are welcome, but those planning to attend are encouraged to sign up on the Facebook event pages at www.facebook.com/PortlandRFC/events.
