The 10th annual Mary's Firemen for a Cure ski race will be held at Shawnee Peak Ski Area on Saturday. The event features races between fire departments from northern New England. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the race starting at 10.
The entry fee is $125 per team, which includes five lift tickets for the day of the race and a chili lunch. $25 lift tickets are available for family members of competitors. For more information or to register a team email marysfiremenforacure@yahoo.com.
Portland North Little League will hold registration from 5:30-8 p.m. March 4 at Riverton School and from 5:30-8 p.m. March 6 at North Deering Congregational Church. First-time registrants must bring a copy of their birth certificate.
