Bulletin Board

• The Maine Tennis Association, working with the U.S. Tennis Association, will hold its first Free Tennis Night in Maine at nine indoor clubs on Sept. 6.

The event is open to those 18 and older.

Each site will have a professional on hand to assist in a night of friendly competition, education and socialization.

The sites are Armstrong Tennis Center in Bangor, Champion's Fitness Club in Waterville, Ellsworth Tennis Club, Maine Pines Racquet and Sports Club in Brunswick, Mid Coast Recreation Center in Rockport, Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta, The Racket and Fitness Center in Portland, The Woodlands Club in Falmouth and Boothbay Region YMCA in Boothbay Harbor.
