The Libby-Mitchell American Legion baseball team will hold a tryout Sunday for the 2014 season at Cape Elizabeth Middle School. The tryout will start at 4:30 p.m. Players from Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough are eligible. Players must bring an original copy of their birth certificate, and spikes and glove. The sixth annual Delta Hotel Northside Minor Basketball Association in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is seeking New England teams for its tournament from Nov. 2-3. The tournament is at the Basketball New Brunswick bantam A and B levels for girls in Grade 7 and 8. Teams are guaranteed three games.
