PORTLAND - Cheverus got goals from Staci Swallow, Alex Logan and Emily Rodrigue to beat Biddeford 3-0 in an SMAA field hockey game Friday.

Cindy Clark made two saves and combined with Libby DesRuisseaux on the shutout for Cheverus (4-0).
Biddeford fell to 2-2.
MARSHWOOD 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Hailey Bruno-Moulton, Ashley Tice and Karissa Boesch scored as the Hawks (4-0) took a 3-0 lead on their way to a win over the Scots (1-1) at South Berwick.
Lindsey Poirier had two assists. Back Erica Connors led the Hawks' defense and Cassidy Smith made three saves.
Nina Truslow scored on a penalty stroke midway through the second half for Bonny Eagle.
SANFORD 3, NOBLE 0: Caroline L'Heureux, Emily Salls and Liz Helmreich scored to lead the Spartans (3-1) past the Knights (0-3) at Sanford.
Janelle Cannon and Lauren Sawyer provided assists, and Taylor Zuk made four saves for the shutout.
GORHAM 2, WESTBROOK 0: Darcy Brown scored both goals for the Rams (1-3) in a win at Westbrook (2-2).
Brown got an assist from Reagan Emerson for the first goal, 1:55 before halftime. Gabby Martell assisted on the second goal.
MASSABESIC 6, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Jackie Guillemette and Alex Staples each had two goals as the visiting Mustangs (4-0) handled the Red Riots (1-2).
Maggie Redman and Mira Kuni each contributed a goal and an assist, and Logan Provencher had three assists.
THORNTON ACADEMY 13, MCAULEY 0: Morgan Dube and Jackie Parent had three goals apiece to lead the Golden Trojans (3-1) past the Lions (0-3) at Saco.
Carli Legere added two goals. Lauren Russell and Libby Pomerleau each had a goal and an assist.
KENNEBUNK 2, WINDHAM 1: Ashley Huston and Aron Bayreather scored in the first 10 minutes of the second half to lead the Rams (2-2) past the Eagles (0-4) at Windham.
Windham's Casey Dumont and Morgan Richmond combined for a give-and-go goal by Richmond with 15:18 left.
YARMOUTH 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Emma Peterson and Carlene Shaw scored and Nicole Hickey made four saves as the visiting Clippers (2-2) topped the Rangers (2-1) at Kittery.
Kaylie Andrews scored and Emily Bolton stopped 10 shots for Traip.
FREEPORT 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Olivia Bubar scored two unassisted goals in the first half to pace the Falcons (2-1) to a win over the Hawks (1-3) at South Hiram.
Lynn Herbert of Sacopee scored two minutes before halftime to cut the deficit to 2-1. Korissa Lavers got an insurance goal with three minutes left, with an assist from Hannah Williams.

TRAIP ACADEMY 5, SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Brandon Metevier scored three of his four goals in the first half as the Rangers (2-1) beat the Hawks (0-1) at Kittery.
Henry Driscoll provided the other goal for the Rangers, who led 4-0 at halftime.
NYA 8, WELLS 0: D.J. Nicholas scored four goals to lead the Panthers (1-1-1) over the Warriors (0-2) at Wells.
NYA led 4-0 at halftime. Elliot Wellenbach added two goals, and Duncan George and Wesley Bright had a goal each.
FALMOUTH 7, POLAND 0: JP White had two goals and three assists, and Cooper Lycan added two goals and an assist as the Yachtsmen (3-0) defeated the Knights (0-2) at Poland.
White set up Lycan after just 3:40 and got the final goal of the first half, unassisted, for a 3-0 lead.
He assisted on goals by Ian McBrady and Lycan in the second half, then scored to make it 6-0 before feeding Lycan for the last goal.
