Photos: Clash of reigning champs

Patrick Ordway of Waynflete serves to Falmouth’s Brendan McCarthy at No. 1 singles. Ordway won, 7-5, 6-3, but the Flyers lost to Falmouth by a 3-2 score for the second time this spring and finished the regular season at 9-3. Waynflete will be seeking its sixth straight Class C state championship when the team tournament begins Friday. Falmouth, now 11-1, is the two-time defending Class B champion.
