ORONO – Mark Cisco scored 15 points, Noruwa Agho added 13 and Brian Barbour had 12 to lead Columbia past Maine on Thursday night, 74-71, earning its fourth consecutive victory.
The Lions (7-4) were ahead 63-46 with 7:26 left, but a 25-9 run pulled Maine (6-6) within 72-71 with 34 seconds left.
Free throws from Cisco and Steve Egee sealed it for Columbia.
Troy Barnies had 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Black Bears.
The Lions shot 48.1 percent from the floor (26 for 54) and 46.7 percent from 3-point range (7 of 15).
Raheem Singleton added 11 points for Maine, which had its four-game win streak snapped.
The Black Bears went 24 of 52 from the floor (46.2 percent), including 4 of 15 from 3-point range (26.7 percent).
DAVIDSON 108, ST. JOSEPH’S 39: Jake Cohen had 16 points and all 13 players scored for Davidson (7-5) against visiting Saint Joseph’s (5-3).
It was the Wildcats’ highest point total since defeating Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) 116-55 on Dec. 15, 2006. The 39 points allowed was the fewest since 37 against Fredonia State on Nov. 25, 2009.
Ten Wildcats scored in the first half as Davidson took a 55-21 halftime lead. Davidson held the Monks to one field goal in the first 6:23 of the second half.
Zach O’Brien scored 15 points for the Monks.

(10) MISSOURI 81, OLD DOMINION 58: Marcus Denmon matched his season best with five 3-pointers and scored 22 points, helping Missouri (13-1) over Old Dominion (9-3) at Columbia, Mo.
(16) BRIGHAM YOUNG 90, BUFFALO 82: Jimmer Fredette scored 28 of his season-high 34 points in the second half to lead BYU (13-1) over Buffalo (7-4) at Amherst, N.Y.
(19) CENTRAL FLORIDA 68, PRINCETON 62: Marcus Jordan scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half to help Central Florida (13-0) rally over Princeton (10-4) at Orlando, Fla.

UNE 4, BECKER 1: Scott McManaman and Adam Laite each had a goal and an assist in the first period to help the Nor’easters (2-6) down the Hawks (4-5-2) and advance to the title game of the PSU Invitational at Plymouth, N.H.
Mike Tiano and Ted Fabian also scored and Mike Roper made 30 saves for UNE.
