KENNEBUNK – Robby Burns scored the eventual winner on an assist from Pip Butterfield with 11 minutes left in the first half as Kennebunk held off Greely 2-1 on Wednesday in a Western Maine Conference boys’ soccer game.

The Rams (3-1) opened the scoring 1:30 into the game when Burns assisted on a goal by Ryan Keefe.

Aidan Black cut Greely’s deficit when he scored on an assist from Austin Nowinski with 19 minutes left.

Kennebunk keeper Ben Wilson finished with 10 saves and Alex McAdoo stopped eight shots for the Rangers (2-1-1).

TRAIP ACADEMY 3, POLAND 2: John Guy scored the equalizer 6:42 into the second half and Mark Lambrecht added the winner with 14:55 remaining as the Rangers (1-4) rallied past the Knights (0-5) at Kittery.

Poland led 2-1 at halftime on goals by Shawn Murphy and Nigel Williams. Abdul Harbi scored the lone first half goal for Traip.

SACOPEE VALLEY 5, WELLS 0: Trey Watson scored a pair of goals to pace the Hawks (4-0) as they downed the Warriors (1-3) at Wells.

CHEVERUS 2, WINDHAM 0: Isaac Yeboah ran up on a ball that Colin Grove had back heeled to the far post, and drove a shot into the corner to give Cheverus (2-1) a 1-0 lead over the Eagles (1-2) with 8:41 left to play in Windham.

Joe Smith added a second goal three minutes later.

Charlie Mull made three saves for the Stags, and Tyler Connors seven for Windham.

YARMOUTH 0, YORK 0: Adam Legg preserved the shutout with a sprawling save in the second half and he finished with nine saves for the Wildcats (2-0-2) as they played to a draw against the Clippers (2-0-2) at York.

Alex Lyon made three saves for the Clippers, who had a 15-3 advantage in shots.

WAYNFLETE 8, LAKE REGION 0: Serge Nyirikamba scored three goals, and Harry Baker-Connick twice to pace the Flyers (3-0) during a victory over Lake Region (0-5) in Portland.

HALL-DALE 3, WISCASSET 0: Konnor Longfellow had a hat trick as the Bulldogs (5-0) beat the visiting Wolverinet (1-2-1).

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, FREEPORT 2: Tyler St. Pierre raced down the right side and shot to the far post for his third breakaway goal of the game, breaking a 2-2 tie with 4:19 left in the match between the Patriots (1-3) and the Falcons (1-3) in Freeport.

CHOP POINT 3, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 1: Matias Areses scored off a corner 9:27 into the second half, breaking a 1-1 tie during the Blue Bears’ (2-1) victory over the Lions (2-2) in South Portland.

POLAND 3, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Sarah Bolduc scored a pair of goals and Emily Bolduc collected one goal and one assist as the Knights (2-1) downed the Rangers (2-3) at Poland.

Haley Whitworth earned the shutout for Poland with five saves and Traip keeper Lynne Moore stopped 11 shots.

WINDHAM 10, CHEVERUS 0: Luisa Sbardella scored three goals, and Emily Gorrivan and Alana Dube two each as Windham (4-0) shut out the Stags (0-4) in Portland.

NORTH YARMOUTH 6, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Melanie Regan’s three goals paced the Panthers (2-2) during a victory over Old Orchard Beach (0-4) in Yarmouth.

Chloe Leishman, Mary Morrison and Alex Wahlstrom also scored.

FALMOUTH 2, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Emma Van Wickler scored on a breakaway late in the first half and Meagan Miller added an insurance goal midway through the second half to lift the Yachtsmen (3-0) over the Capers (3-1) at Cape Elizabeth.

Falmouth keeper Maggie Seitz finished with 11 saves for the shutout.

GORHAM 2, DEERING 0: Abbie LaPorte and Emily Deluca scored second-half goals to give Gorham (3-1) a victory over Deering (2-1) in Portland.

Renae Staples made eight saves for the shutout.

GREELY 4, KENNEBUNK 1: Kristina Volta and Izzy Hutnak each collected one goal and one assist to lead the Rangers (4-0) past the Rams (2-2) at Cumberland.

MASSABESIC 2, SANFORD 1: Kym Hendrix picked up her second assist of the game on the eventual winning goal by Hannah Sleight in the opening minute of the second half as the Mustangs (3-1) edged the Spartans (0-3) at Waterboro.

WELLS 4, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Amanda Deshaies scored twice as the Warriors (2-2-1) beat the Hawks (2-2) in South Hiram.

Alison Furness and Sophie Lamb also scored for the Warriors. Abby Hughes notched Sacopee’s goal.

Kaitlyn needed 12 saves to register the win in net for Wells. Sacopee Valley’s Maddie Day had 10 saves.

THORNTON ACADEMY 9, BONNY EAGLE 0: Amanda Arnold paced the Trojans (4-0) with three goals and one assist as they cruised to a win over the Scots (0-3) at Saco.

WESTBROOK 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Sophie Manning scored on a free kick three minutes into the game, and again with seven minutes left in the game, to give the Blue Blazes (1-3) a victory over South Portland (0-4) in Westbrook.

Samm Russell made three saves in net for Westbrook, and Emma Russell nine for the Red Riots.

BREWER 2, SKOWHEGAN 1: Maddy Bailey scored a pair of goals, including the winner in the second half as the Witches (1-2-1) beat the Indians (0-4-) at Skowhegan.
