GREELY
Last season: 16-5, state champion
Outlook: The Rangers, who peaked at just the right time last year, return six of their top seven goal-scorers. Greely's challenge is replacing All-State goalie Emma Seymour.
FALMOUTH
Last season: 19-2, West region champion
Outlook: All-State defensemen Meg Fortier and Monica Aaskov graduated, but Alyse Bazinet is another top defender. The Yachtsmen have seven other starters returning.
BRUNSWICK
Last season: 15-4-1, East runners-up
Outlook: The Dragons' program continues upward, returning two All-State forwards and two solid goalies (Erin Gay and Claire Mendes). Forward Gillian Ford moves to defense.
YORK
Last season: 13-4-3, West runners-up
Outlook: The Wildcats continue to regroup with a plethora of skaters (28), including senior forwards Rachel Yorke, Olivia Leroux and Julian Figlioli. The defense is solid.
SCARBOROUGH
Last season: 14-4-1, West No. 3 seed
Outlook: This could be the year the Red Storm reach the regional title game. Stellar goaltending with a mix of veteran and talented young players keeps Scarborough strong.
