FREEPORT – Eli Fox threw three touchdown passes Saturday to lead Freeport to a 33-6 victory against Lake Region in a Western Class C football game.

David Scheadler ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns for the Falcons (3-3) against the Lakers (2-4).

Ben MacMillan had two sacks, forced one fumble and recovered another, and Cam Buthlay forced a fumble and had a fumble recovery for the Falcons.

OAK HILL 40, BOOTHBAY 6: Kyle Flaherty and Alex Mace accounted for 312 of the 323 yards and all six touchdowns for Oak Hill (4-2) against Boothbay (3-3) at Wales.

“I call them fire and ice, Alex being fire and Kyle being ice,” Oak Hill Coach Stacen Doucette said. “They have very different running styles. Kyle is a slasher; he’s always going forward. You never get a clean shot. Alex is a vicious runner, where he’s always trying to run through people.”

Flaherty rushed for 182 yards with three touchdowns and Mace for 120 yards and three TDs. Each had 17 carries.

WINSLOW 60, HERMON 6: The Black Raiders (6-0) took care of business by beating Hermon (0-6) at Winslow, but business is about to pick up.

Winslow will face twice-beaten Foxcroft Academy, the defending Class C state champion, next Saturday, then play at neighboring Waterville in the regular-season finale Oct. 26.

“It is almost like our season is just starting,” Coach Mike Siviski said. “Really, I’m serious.”

WATERVILLE 50, MAD-ISON/CARRABEC 20: The Panthers (6-0) used strong running and tough defense against the run to beat Madison/Carrabec (0-6) at Waterville.

The teams combined for seven personal fouls or other 15-yard penalties. Waterville, coming off an important victory at Foxcroft Academy last week, was sluggish for most of the first quarter.

“It was kind of a sloppy game. I think we had to create some inspiration,” Waterville Coach Frank Knight said.

LISBON 24, MARANACOOK 6: Quincy Thompson scored twice and rushed a conversion to lead the Greyhounds (5-1) over Maranacook (3-3) at Lisbon Falls.
