GRAY – Bright Amoako scored 18 points Tuesday night to lead Fryeburg Academy to a 44-33 victory against Gray-New Gloucester in a Western Maine Conference boys’ basketball game.

Walker Mallory added 11 points for Fryeburg (2-9), which pulled away after leading 20-17 at halftime. Will Shafer had 15 for Gray-New Gloucester (2-8).

FALMOUTH 83, LAKE REGION 50: Matt Packard scored 21 points and Jack Cooleen had 18 to lead five double-digit scorers for the Yachtsmen (11-0) against the Lakers (3-8) at Naples.

Jack Simonds added 13 points, and Alex Cattell and Tom Wilberg each had 10 for Falmouth.

Alexander Hartford had 14 points, 11 rebounds and six assists for Lake Region.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 56, A.R. GOULD 29: Andrew Fleury and Quincy Grace combined for 27 points to lead the Seagulls (3-6) past the Bears (5-2) at South Portland.

Old Orchard used a 13-2 second-quarter run to take a 26-12 lead.

Zacharia Mohamed had 19 points for A.R. Gould.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

LAKE REGION 51, FALMOUTH 46: Sydney Hancock drilled a 3-pointer, and Lake Region (11-0) converted free throws in the closing seconds to outscore the Yachtsmen (6-5) 10-5 in overtime at Falmouth.

Tiana-Jo Carter finished with 20 points and Kelsey Winslow 10 for the Lakers.

Ally Hickey countered with 16 and Laney Evers 10 for Falmouth.

FOREST HILLS 59, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 54: Dana McNally scored 14 points to lead a balanced offense as Forest Hills (8-3) beat the Lions (2-4) at South Portland.

Jocelyn Hoyt added 12 points, Anna Carrier 10 and Keely Taylor 10 for the Tigers. Suzane Gonzalez scored 20 points, Elaine Beech 15 and Robyn Waugh 13 for Greater Portland Christian.

WINDHAM 55, BONNY EAGLE 39: Meghan Gribbin scored 22 points, setting a school record with 1,055 in her career, as the Eagles (8-3) downed the Scots (3-9) at Standish.

Stephanie Frost added 11 points for Windham, which led 28-15 at the half.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 49, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 40: Skye Dole had 21 points and 17 rebounds for the Raiders (4-7), who overcame a 28-21 halftime deficit against the Patriots (4-6) at Fryeburg.

Maggie McConkey added seven points and seven assists for Fryeburg Academy. Maria Valente had 11 points and 12 boards for Gray-New Gloucester.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

BONNY EAGLE 3, LAKE REGION-FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Josh Bagley scored off a breakout pass from Kyle Whitman at 3:01 of the first period and the Scots (4-6) held off the Ice Cats (4-4) at Gorham.

Josh Doustou added a goal in the second period for Bonny Eagle.
