KENNEBUNK - Cody Elliott preserved Gorham's unbeaten record, scoring eight minutes into the second half Thursday to gain a 1-1 tie against Kennebunk in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game.
Robby Burns opened the scoring for Kennebunk (5-2-2) from Griffin Drigotas 15 minutes into the game.
John Burns finished with 12 saves for Kennebunk. Alex McCarthy stopped four shots for Gorham (7-0-2).
MARSHWOOD 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Max McCoomb scored three goals to lead Marshwood (6-3) over the Tigers (1-7-1) at Biddeford.
Alex McLean also scored and had two assists. Matt Brenner and Kyle Rowe combined for five saves for the Hawks.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: D.J. Nicholas scored three goals, and Jackson Cohan-Smith added a goal and three assists as the Panthers (6-3-1) cruised over the Hawks (1-6) at Yarmouth.
Aiden McLaughlin, Wes Bright, Colby Bate and Elliot Wellenbach also scored for NYA. Ryan Moulton answered for Sacopee.
YORK 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Theo Bullock scored one goal and assisted on two others as the Wildcats (5-1-1) downed the Capers (2-5-1) at York.
Willy Bennett and Mitchell Hickey also scored, and Adam Legg made four saves to record the shutout.
CHEVERUS 3, WESTBROOK 0: Elijah Yeboah scored in the first half and Cheverus (5-4) went on to defeat the Blue Blazes (0-8-1) at Westbrook.
Derek Hammond and Isaac Yeboah added second-half goals. MacKenzie Hoglund had two assists. Charlie Mull had five saves for Cheverus.
WAYNFLETE 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Peabo Knoth scored three times for the Flyers (6-0-1) against Traip Academy (4-4-1) at Kittery.
Henry Cleaves added the other Waynflete goal. Ralph Humiston scored for the Rangers.
SOUTH PORTLAND 2, BONNY EAGLE 0: Ahmed Suja scored a pair of goals less than 10 minutes apart midway through the second half to lift the Red Riots (6-1-2) over the Scots (2-7) at Standish.
Ben Burkey stopped six shots for South Portland. Jeff Martin finished with 12 saves for Bonny Eagle.
PORTLAND 3, MASSABESIC 0: Tim Rovnak scored twice in the first half and finished with three goals to lead the Bulldogs (2-5-1) over the Mustangs (2-6-1) at Portland.
Chip Webber stopped 14 shots for Portland. Andrew Wicklund finished with nine saves for Massabesic.
GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 3, ISLESBORO 2: Eric Pearson had a goal and an assist as Greater Portland Christian (5-3) opened a 3-1 halftime lead against the Eagles (1-5) at Islesboro.
Brandan Bourque of Islesboro made a penalty kick with 1:30 left.
