FALMOUTH – Paige Tuller and Mary Morrison each had two goals and an assist Saturday to lead Greely to a 9-1 victory against Yarmouth/Freeport in a schoolgirl hockey game at Family Ice Center.

Etta Copenhagen, Maura Verrill, Danita Storey and Meg Finlay each added a goal and an assist, and Monica Howland also scored for Greely (4-2).

Breanna Morrill scored and Hannah Williams made 30 saves for Yarmouth/Freeport (2-3-1).

YORK 3, PORTLAND/DEERING 1: Rachel Yorke converted Brynn Vessey’s assist to break a 1-1 tie at 11:35 of the first period and added a third-period goal as the Wildcats (3-1) beat Portland/Deering (1-3-1) at Rochester, N.H.

Tori Stocks also scored for York and Ella Coose for the Bulldogs.

ST. DOMINIC 4, WINSLOW 3: The Saints (1-3) scored three goals in the final period, including the winner with 7:49 left, to edge the Black Raiders (1-4) at Lewiston.

Miranda Gagne, Brennah O’Connell and Jennifer Poulin scored for Winslow. Jessica Cain made 38 saves.

SCARBOROUGH 10, CHEVERUS 1: Alyssa Hulst, Rachel Wallace, Sarah Martens and Kristen Murray scored two goals apiece to lead the Red Storm (5-0) over the Stags (2-2) at Portland.

BASKETBALL

MADISON 56, ST. DOMINIC 45: Sam Bruce had 13 points and five assists, and Alex Jarvais had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs at Auburn.

Bronte Elias also scored 10 points for Madison. Kelly Pomerleau scored 20 for St. Dominic.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 41, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 25: Elaine Beech scored eight points for the Lions, who built a 17-0 lead in the first quarter at Eliot.

Beech finished with 14 points. Ashlee Dawson added 10 for Greater Portland Christian, and Shannon Kunz scored 10 for the Guardians.

HYDE 47, PINE TREE ACADEMY 27: Kara Fischer scored 20 points and Shannon Ward added 12 to help the Phoenix win at Freeport.

BOOTHBAY REGION 46, CARRABEC 37: Abby McLellan scored 15 points to lead the Seahawks at North Anson.

Alex Clarke added 14 points for Boothbay. Emma Pluntke had 14 points and 15 rebounds for Carrabec.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 54, HALL-DALE 39: Kailee Newcomb scored 20 points and Emily Keene added 13 to pace the Phoenix to a win at Farmingdale.

FOREST HILLS 62, VINALHAVEN 31: Anna Carrier scored 20 points to lead the Tigers at Vinalhaven.

Kori Coro added 16 points for Forest Hills, which swept the two-game series to start the season. The Tigers won 67-43 on Friday night.

Dana McNally also scored in double figures with 10.

Vinalhaven was led by Ashley Hamilton with 12 points.

FRIDAY’S HOCKEY

GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 8, CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 5: Rachel Litif scored five goals and Maddy Hamblen made 36 saves for Gorham/Bonny Eagle (2-1) over the Capers (1-2-1) at Gorham.

Charlotte Smith contributed a goal and two assists, Mackenzie Collins and Shayla Wing also scored, and Victoria Richards had two assists.

SANFORD 50, BONNY EAGLE 29: Heather LeBlanc scored 24 points and Morgan Fogg added 13 to lead the Spartans at Sanford.
