YARMOUTH – Bailey Train hit a three-run homer in the top of the eighth inning Friday and undefeated Greely went on to a 10-7 victory against Yarmouth in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

The Rangers (8-0) scored three runs in the seventh to take a two-run lead, but Matt Highland and Ian Grover of Yarmouth (6-3) reached on singles and scored on wild pitches in the bottom of the inning to force extra innings.

Train finished with four RBI. Grover was 3 for 3.

WINDHAM 6, KENNEBUNK 4: Windham (8-1) scored five runs in the seventh inning to overcome a 4-1 deficit and defeat the Rams (2-6) at Kennebunk.

The Eagles led 1-0 in the top of the sixth before Kennebunk scored four in the bottom of the inning. Ethan Petty delivered an RBI double in the seventh and Joe Francoeur put the Eagles ahead with a two-run single.

NOBLE 3, CHEVERUS 2: The Knights (2-6) scored three runs in the third inning, then held off the Stags (4-4) at North Berwick.

In the third, Mason Della-Piana singled and came home on a double by Damian Gibson, who scored on a double by Otto Keisker. Jacob Emard followed with a triple to score Keisker.

Cheverus got its runs in the fourth when Mitchell Powers doubled and scored on a single by Jordan, who scored on a double by Ethan LaPoint.

Corey Halliday struck out eight for Noble.

THORNTON ACADEMY 11, BIDDEFORD 6: The Golden Trojans (3-5) hit three home runs and used two four-run innings to beat the Tigers (2-6) at Saco.

Alex Fallon hit a two-run homer, later added a solo shot, and Jeff Gelinas had a three-run blast in the sixth, when Thornton scored its final four.

Reliever Drew Gelinas got the final out of the fifth before pitching the final two innings for the win.

Cam Jackman had two hits and three RBI for Thornton.

Patrick Wilson led the Tigers with two hits with two RBI.

OCEANSIDE 5, LEAVITT 1: Ryan Allender used just 73 pitches in a complete-game win for the Mariners (6-4) against Leavitt (4-5) at Turner.

Allender was pitching a shutout until Brian Hiscock hit a one-out homer in the seventh inning. He allowed seven hits with four strikeouts and no walks.

Oceanside took a 3-0 lead in the first on an RBI single by J.T. Tobin and a two-run single by Allender.

FALMOUTH 8, WELLS 7: The Yachtsmen (7-1) scored a pair of runs on an error with two outs in the top of the 11th inning and held off the Warriors (3-6) at Wells.

Falmouth trailed 3-2 in the seventh when Connor Aube hit a two-out single, stole second and scored on a single by Will D’Agostino.

Conner MacDowell finished with three hits for Falmouth, including a two-run triple.

Connor Pease led Yarmouth with four hits, including a two-run single during a three-run ninth after Falmouth scored three in the top of the inning.

WESTBROOK 3, MASSABESIC 2: Austin Blake and Derek Bouchard each two hits, and Kyle Heath drove in the winning run with a deep fly ball in the fourth inning as the Blue Blazes (7-1) beat the Mustangs (2-6) at Westbrook.

Casey Nava had two hits with an RBI and two stolen bases for Massabesic.

YORK 12, LAKE REGION 2: Sam Johnson hit a three-run homer to cap a nine-run first inning as the Wildcats (7-2) beat the Lakers (2-7) in five innings at York.

Anthony Sciaudone had two hits and scored three runs, and Adam Bailey added three hits, two RBI and a run for York.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Aaron Dobieski scored the winning run on a double by Zachery Culver in the sixth inning to lift the Capers (5-4) over the Raiders (4-5) at Fryeburg.

Tim Brigham pitched a five-hitter for Cape Elizabeth and Tanner Wentworth scattered six hits for Fryeburg.

Fryeburg made it 1-1 in the fifth on an RBI double by Tyler Hill.

SACOPEE VALLEY SWEEPS OLD ORCHARD BEACH: Alex Fenderson had two hits with two runs and two RBI, and the Hawks (3-6) scored the go-ahead run in the sixth inning to take the opener against the Seagulls (4-6) at South Hiram.

Sacopee won the second game, 8-3.

Michael Pingree singled and scored on a hit by Keith Jordan to break a 7-7 tie.

James Strohm and Anthony Langella-Laws each had two hits for Old Orchard.

In the second game, freshman Rodrick Maynard pitched a seven-hitter with five strikeouts, and Jordan hit two homers.

Jordan hit a solo homer in the first inning and a three-run shot in the fourth.

Craig Dunnells and Nick York also had two hits.

Langella-Laws had two hits for the Seagulls.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 12, WAYNFLETE 7: Tyler St. Pierre had three hits, scored three runs and drove in two for the Patriots (2-8), who scored 10 runs over the final three innings to rally past the Flyers (5-2) at Portland.

GARDINER 7, MEDOMAK VALLEY 4: Dennis Meehan struck out 10, and drove in two runs with a double and a triple to lead Gardiner (5-4) over Medomak Valley (0-8) at Waldoboro.

MESSALONSKEE 8, MT. ARARAT 1: Ben Frazee pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks to lead Messalonskee (7-3) over Mt. Ararat (3-7) at Oakland.

Mt. Ararat scored in the seventh one a pair of walks, a hit batter and a fielder’s choice.

“He was hitting his spots with his fastball and his curveball was working really well,” Messalonskee Coach Ray Bernier said. “He’s probably got the best curve I’ve seen since I’ve been coaching.”

Jake Dexter singled and doubled twice, and Josh Woodard added a two-run single.

BRUNSWICK 4, LAWRENCE 1: Brady Larson gave up one hit, a first-inning single by Cody Martin, to lead the Dragons (3-6) over Lawrence (1-9) at Fairfield.

Larson struck out four and walked two. Charlie Lowell drove in two runs, and Brett Lancaster had a pair of hits for the Dragons.

Derek Raven scored for Lawrence on a passed ball in the fourth inning.

CAMDEN HILLS 6, MARANACOOK 4: The Windjammers (7-2) scored twice in the sixth inning to beat Maranacook (5-5) at Readfield.

Joe Chamberlain had two singles and Ian Nason added a double for Camden Hills.

Tucker Whitman and Zach Elwell each had two singles for Maranacook.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 4, MT. BLUE 3: Zack Isbell doubled and scored the winning run in the fourth inning on a double by John Suga to lift the Eagles (3-7) over Mt. Blue (2-8) at South China.

Isbell finished with a single and double, Josh Bailey added an RBI single for the Eagles. Jordan Whitney singled home a run for Mt. Blue. Bailey picked up the pitching win in relief of Jake Rideout.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 2, MADISON 1: Kyle Fletcher pitched a complete game, allowing just a seventh-inning run, as the Mustangs (7-2) beat the Bulldogs (4-6) at Madison.

Fletcher struck out four, walked two and allowed three hits for Monmouth. Alex Curtis had two singles and an RBI, and Fletcher added two singles for the Mustangs.

Garrett Emery hit a solo home run in the seventh inning for Madison. Jacob Johnson and Tristan Emery each singled for Madison’s other hits. Chase Malloy pitched a complete game for the Bulldogs, allowing six hits, striking out four.

WINSLOW 8, LINCOLN ACADEMY 2: Gabe Smith had a double, two singles and scored two runs for the Black Raiders (10-0), who had 11 hits while using Mothers’ Day pink bats to beat the Eagles (5-5) at Winslow.

Donald Camp and Zach Guptill each added two singles for the Black Raiders.

A.J. Oliver, Devin Scherer and Timmy Farrar had a single apiece for Lincoln.

LISBON 2, CARRABEC 1: Austin Gournier doubled and scored on Dillon Clifford’s grounder in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Greyhounds (5-6) over Carrabec (3-6) at Lisbon Falls.

Lisbon starter Kyle Bourget struck out 13 and walked one. Levi Murray of the Cobras struck out six and walked one. Trent Richardson singled home a run for Carrabec.
