STANDISH – Allison Pillar hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning and finished with three RBI for Bonny Eagle, which overcame a 5-1 deficit and scored a run in the bottom of the seventh Wednesday to force a 5-5 tie against Marshwood in an SMAA softball game called after seven innings because of rain.

Gianna Riccardi belted a home run and a double for Marshwood (7-3-1), and Nicole Harvey finished with 12 strikeouts. Allison Pike of Bonny Eagle (7-4-1) had 11 strikeouts.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Sarah Harriman threw a six-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks and also hit a solo homer to lift the Raiders (12-1) over the Patriots (7-5) at Gray.

Harriman led off the fourth with her home run, and Kylie Locke singled and scored on an error later in the inning.

Gray-New Gloucester cut the lead in half in the sixth when Sammy Wilkins tripled and scored on Maria Valente’s sacrifice fly.

SCARBOROUGH 9, KENNEBUNK 2: Marisa O’Toole tripled home two runs and scored on a groundout, and Alyssa Williamson belted a solo homer as the Red Storm (10-1) scored five times in the fourth inning to take a 7-0 lead over Kennebunk (5-5) at Scarborough.

Erin Giles had four hits and two RBI and struck out eight while pitching a six-hitter. Williamson also had four hits and two RBI.

POLAND 2, FALMOUTH 0: Kylie Martin struck out five and walked three while throwing a two-hitter for the Knights (7-4) in a win over the Yachtsmen (5-5) at Poland.

The game was scoreless until the bottom of the sixth when Haley Whitworth singled and later scored on an error. Poland added a second run on an RBI single by Martin.

Falmouth’s Julia Treadwell pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk.

WELLS 4, FREEPORT 2: Meghan Young had three hits and the visiting Warriors (7-5) broke a 2-2 tie with two runs in the fifth inning against the Falcons (4-7).

Necole Harrison tripled and Lauren Cormier had two hits for Freeport.

SANFORD 4, MASSABESIC 0: Sam Adams struck out six while pitching a one-hitter as the Spartans (6-5) defeated the Mustangs (4-8) at Sanford.

Amber Libby, Massabesic’s second batter, hit a clean single to left-center in the first inning.

Sam Fecteau broke up a scoreless deadlock with a sacrifice fly in the fifth, and Dani Collinson added a two-run homer in the sixth.

CAPE ELIZABETH 13, LAKE REGION 1: Emma O’Rourke finished 4 for 4, including a pair of doubles, and Tess Haller knocked in three runs on as many hits to lead the Capers (11-0) past the Lakers (0-10) in five innings at Cape Elizabeth.

Ashley Clark led Lake Region with two singles.

GORHAM 3, CHEVERUS 0: Katelyn Wilson pitched a five-hitter with four strikeouts, and Lindsey Wilcox had two hits as the Rams (4-7) downed the visiting Stags (6-5).

Gorham took the lead in the third inning. Emily Deluca walked and scored on an error, and Erin Smith scored on a fielder’s choice grounder by Patti Smith.

Wilcox stole home in the fourth for the other run.

SOUTH PORTLAND 9, WINDHAM 0: Olivia Indorf pitched a one-hitter for the Red Riots (10-2) against the Eagles (4-7) at South Portland.

Indorf (4-1) struck out 10 and walked six. Windham’s Morgan Richmond singled up the middle in the first inning.

Danica Gleason knocked in three runs and was 3 for 3.

NOBLE 15, DEERING 0: Katie Taylor sparked a five-run second inning with a two-run double and finished with three RBI as the Knights (8-3) cruised past the Rams (0-12) in five innings at North Berwick.

Noble pitchers Amber Kelly and Laura Willey combined for 11 strikeouts while throwing a three-hitter.

Tessa Creveti added a two-run single during Noble’s second-inning outburst.

WESTBROOK 18, PORTLAND 1: Ally Lemay fired a three-hitter with 11 strikeouts in five innings as the Blue Blazes (6-5) beat the Bulldogs (2-11) at Portland.

Kerigan Demers had four hits, including a three-run homer, and finished with five RBI and two runs scored. Katie Clark had a two-run homer among three hits, drove in four runs and scored three.

MT. ARARAT 6, LEWISTON 5: Taylor Pare scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Eagles (4-8) over the Blue Devils (1-11) at Topsham.

Micaela Mitchell had two hits, including a double, and scored two runs for Mt. Ararat.

Samantha Rioux led Lewiston with three hits.

MORSE 14, MT. VIEW 2: Jacelyn McNeill pitched a two-hitter to lead Morse (2-10) over Mt. View (0-11) at Bath.

McNeill also led the offense with three RBI.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 7, BELFAST 5: Abby Farrin struck out nine and gave up six hits as the Eagles (7-3) downed the Lions (4-5) at Belfast.

Hayden Campbell and Gretchen Konitzky drove in two runs apiece for Lincoln.

CONY 8, OXFORD HILLS 4: The Rams (11-0) rallied for six runs in the sixth inning to post a win in South Paris.

Winning pitcher Sonja Morse and Olivia Deeves each drove in two runs in the rally, and Alyssah Dennett and Veronica Woods also collected an RBI. Dennett finished with two singles and a double, Deeves added three singles, and Arika Brochu singled and tripled.

Jordan Sanborn singled twice for Oxford Hills (10-2), and Abby Bernier hit an inside-the-park home run.

MESSALONSKEE 7, MT. BLUE 5: Kylee Knight and Nikki Collier each had two singles to lead the Eagles (11-1) to a win in Oakland.

Emily York drove in a pair of runs in a three-run third.

Kiana Thompson had three singles for the Cougars (1-11).

MARANACOOK 6, GARDINER 5: Ashley Belanger allowed just four hits to help the Black Bears (5-6) pin Gardiner (10-1) with its first loss.

Maranacook scored three in the second and three in the fourth.

OAK HILL 7, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Kortni Michaud struck out seven and allowed one hit to lead the Raiders (8-2) to a win in Wales.

LACROSSE

CHEVERUS 17, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6: Alex Logan scored four goals and Abby Biegel added three for the Stags (7-1) in a victory over the Panthers (1-7) at Yarmouth.

Mary Kate Walsh, Staci Swallow and Elyse Caiazzo contributed two goals each. Olivia Madore paced NYA with three goals, while Alex Wahlstrom scored twice.

LEWISTON 10, MT. ARARAT 8: Laurianne Murphy scored four goals and Natalie Rousseau and Jess Cote added two apiece as the Blue Devils (6-2) downed the Eagles (4-4) at Topsham.

Mt. Ararat was paced by Rebecca Schuman with three goals.
