FRYEBURG – Zach Heath and Jordan Williams hit back-to-back RBI doubles in the sixth inning Friday, breaking a scoreless tie and leading Lake Region to a 3-0 victory against Fryeburg Academy in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Williams scattered seven hits to earn the victory for the Lakers (1-3) against the Raiders (2-2).

CAPE ELIZABETH 10, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 5: Zachery Culver had two doubles, a single and an RBI, Chad Peterson drove in two runs, and the Capers (2-2) took advantage of seven errors to down the Patriots (1-4) at Gray.

After each team scored five in the first inning, Cape Elizabeth took the lead with two in the second on a pair of errors, a double by Tim Brigham and an RBI single by Matthew Denison.

Mitchell Giles drove in two for Gray-New Gloucester.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 7, BELFAST 6: Israel Daiute manufactured the decisive run as the Eagles (3-1) beat Belfast (2-2) at Newcastle.

Daiute singled, stole second, stole third and continued home when the throw was high. The run gave Lincoln a 7-4 lead and proved decisive when the Lions scored twice in the seventh.

Daiute singled and scored in the second when Lincoln rapped seven singles to take a 6-0 lead.

MORSE 11, MT. VIEW 0: Paul Whalen doubled, drove in a run and scored twice, and Keegan McDonough threw four shutout innings as the Shipbuilders (4-1) downed the Mustangs (1-4) in five innings at Thorndike.

Aaron Doughty added two hits, an RBI and a run.

OCEANSIDE 6, CAMDEN HILLS 5: Matt Zable scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Mariners (2-3) scored the final four runs to rally past the Windjammers (2-2) at Rockland.

Nick Mazurek, Dan Hendricks, Zach Peaco and Ryan Allendar had two hits apiece for Oceanside.

GREELY 9, POLAND 0: Bailey Train gave up one hit and struck out six over five shutout innings, and also hit a double with one RBI and one run as the Rangers (4-0) downed the Knights (2-3) at Poland.

Miles Shields added two hits, a walk, an RBI and a run for Greely.

WELLS 12, SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Bennie McMinnis struck out seven while holding Sacopee Valley (1-4) to four hits during a six-inning victory for the Warriors (1-3) at Wells.

Gus Heptig followed Matt Fisher’s two-run single with a two-run line double to left-center as Wells broke a 0-0 tie with a seven-run third inning. Dan Quint’s two-run single in the sixth ended the game.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 7, YARMOUTH 4: Pitcher Anthony Langella-Laws had a solid all-around game for the Seagulls (3-1) against the Clippers (3-1) at Yarmouth.

Langella-Laws, who pitched six innings, struck out one, picked off three runners and handled five comebackers, including three that were well-struck.

He also doubled, singled and had an RBI.

Quincy Grace had three hits with two RBI, and struck out the side in the seventh for the save.

Mike Smith hit a two-run double for Yarmouth.

FALMOUTH 11, FREEPORT 3: Thomas Fortier’s two-run single capped a five-run fourth inning as Falmouth (2-0) opened a 9-3 lead against the Falcons (1-3) at Freeport.

SKOWHEGAN 9, BREWER 6: John Swett had two singles and two RBI to lead the Indians (3-2) past Brewer (2-2) at Skowhegan.

Cam Nelson, Kaleb Brown and Henry Ametti each had two hits for Skowhegan, including a double by Nelson. Taylor Bacon earned the win for the Indians, going six innings and striking out three.

Spencer Valley, Jeff Weeks and Anthony Dissell had doubles for Brewer.

MADISON 11, BOOTHBAY REGION 7: Cody Soucier had a triple, a single, two RBI and three runs as the Bulldogs (2-2) beat the Seahawks (0-3) at Madison.

Garrett Emery pitched six innings to earn the win. He struck out 10 and walked one. Tyler Lawrence added a double and two RBI. Emery also had a triple.

Linc Simmons had a double, a single and two RBI for Madison.

OXFORD HILLS 5, CONY 4: The Vikings (4-1) scored in the seventh to tie it, then won it in the ninth, beating Cony (2-2) at Augusta.

Oxford Hills took a 3-2 lead in the top of the sixth before Cony answered with two runs in the bottom half.

GREELY 8, MASSABESIC 7: Brendan Trelegan scored his third goal of the game to give the Rangers (3-0) an 8-6 lead with about four minutes left, and they held off the Mustangs (2-3) at Waterboro.

Jake DesRochers and Jon Champlin scored two goals apiece, and DesRochers also had an assist for Massabesic.

YORK 8, NOBLE 2: Mitchell Lee scored three goals to lead the Wildcats (2-1) past the Knights (0-5) at York.

Mitchell Hickey and Eli Loeff-ler added two goals apiece for York, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Mickey Ricker scored both Noble goals.

MARSHWOOD 17, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Drew Hale had four goals and three assists as Marshwood (3-3) beat the Raiders (0-3) at Fryeburg.

Matt Scremin and Troy Stevens added three goals each.

DEERING 10, BONNY EAGLE 5: Billy Farrell scored four goals and Rick Murray had three to lead the Rams (3-2) past the Scots (1-3) at Portland.

Sam Hornblower had 17 ground balls for Deering, which led 7-3 at halftime.
