ARLINGTON, Texas - Evan Longoria homered twice, Tampa Bay roughed up Matt Harrison, and the Rays beat the Texas Rangers 8-4 Wednesday night to snap a four-game losing streak.

After dropping the last two against the AL-West leading Rangers by one run, the Rays avoided the three-game sweep.
Tampa Bay had scored only 11 runs during their losing skid before breaking out for 16 hits against Texas.
BLUE JAYS 8, YANKEES 5: Yunel Esccobar hit a two-run homer, three doubles and drove in five runs as Toronto won at New York, ending CC Sabathia's five years of dominance over the Blue Jays.
Sabathia (13-4) was undefeated over his last nine starts against Toronto -- 8-0 with a 2.48 ERA -- since the beginning of his Cy Young Award season of 2007 with Cleveland.
WHITE SOX 8, ORIOLES 1: Dylan Axelrod took a three-hitter into the eighth inning and Chicago spoiled the Baltimore debut of Joe Saunders, scoring seven runs off him in a win at Baltimore.
Gordon Beckham had three hits and three RBI to help Chicago snap a five-game road losing streak.
ATHLETICS 8, INDIANS 4: Josh Donaldson hit a three-run homer and five pitchers combined to win at Cleveland.
Oakland took over the AL wild-card lead by one game over Baltimore with its 11th win in 13 games as Travis Blackley (5-3) gave up two runs over 52/3 innings. Ryan Cook got four outs for his 13th save.
ROYALS 1, TIGERS 0: Bruce Chen allowed four hits over a season-high eight innings, and Eric Hosmer's infield single in the fourth drove in the only run in Kansas City's home win.
TWINS 10, MARINERS 0: Samuel Deduno dominated for seven innings, Trevor Plouffe homered and had four RBI, and Minnesota beat visiting Seattle.

REDS 6, DIAMONDBACKS 2: Chris Heisey hit two of Cincinnati's four home runs, including the tying two-run shot in the seventh inning, to rally the Reds at Phoenix.
DODGERS 10, ROCKIES 8: Joe Blanton pitched effectively into the eighth inning for his first win with Los Angeles and A.J. Ellis hit his first career grand slam in a win at Denver.
NATIONALS 8, MARLINS 4: Bryce Harper homered twice for the first time in his career and visiting Washington snapped a five-game losing streak.
METS 3, PHILLIES 2: Lucas Duda hit a two-run homer, Matt Harvey had another sharp outing and visiting New York won its fourth straight.
PIRATES 5, CARDINALS 0: Pedro Alvarez stayed hot, blasting his 26th homer of the season and driving in three runs as Pittsburgh won at home.
PADRES 8, BRAVES 2: Chase Headley hit a two-run single and left-hander Eric Stults won his fourth straight decision as San Diego won at home -- its ninth win in 10 games.
BREWERS 3, CUBS 1: Mike Fiers tossed 71/3 solid innings as visiting Milwaukee beat Chicago for the eighth straight time.
GIANTS 6, ASTROS 4: Hunter Pence hit a three-run homer and Joaquin Arias drove in two with a triple to help San Francisco win at Houston.
