Maine Milestones

• Mike Lizotte aced the 16th hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course on July 15. Lizotte used a 9-iron for the 168-yard shot, which was witnessed by Ben Morrison and Phil Hamilton.

The Maine Thunder under-18 softball team recently won the New England regional ASA tournament in Pultney, Vt., with a 7-4 over the Rhode Island Rebel Gold team. • Dave Levesque made a hole-in-one on the third hole at Fox Ridge Golf Club on July 16. Levesque used a 6-iron for the 147-yard shot, which was witnessed by Walt Burlock and Bob Drew.
