Maine Milestones

Bob DeRice made his sixth career hole-in-one and second of the month when he aced the 151-yard fifth hole at The Woodlands on Sept. 27. He used a 7-iron for the shot. His playing partners were Don Holden and Jeff Martin.

Connor Pinkham, a member of the Bonny Eagle High junior varsity team, aced the 151-yard fourth hole at Sunset Ridge on Sept. 23. 

John Suczynski recorded a hole-in-one on the 204-yard 11th hole at Falmouth Country Club on Sept. 23. Suczynski used a 3-wood for the shot, which was witnessed by Jeff Raymond, Derek Raymond and Charlie Edwards. 

Sheri Farthing carded her first career hole-in-one on the seventh hole at The Woodlands on Sept. 25. Farthing used a 9-wood for the 116-yard shot, which was witnessed by Bob Farthing, Frank Kasilowski and Peggy Kasilowski. 

Nikom Boobphachati of Cape Elizabeth scored a hole-in-one at Nonesuch River Golf Club on Sept. 25. Boobphachati used a 9-iron for the 110-yard shot on the 15th hole. Witnesses included Jimmy Boobphachati and Tony Boobphachati.
