Maine Milestones

Rod Link aced the 151-yard 13th hole at Gorham Country Club on Sept. 30. Link used a 6-iron for the shot, which was seen by Roger Link, Paul Fecteau and Allen Mancini.

Alex Herbert recorded a hole-in-one on the 136-yard eighth hole at Rivermeadow on Oct. 1. Herbert used an 8-iron for the shot, which was witnessed by Brandt Herbert, Jon Cummings and Margaret Cummings.

Ron Blanchette of Lewiston made his first hole-in-one on Oct. 1 at Martindale Country Club, acing the 232-yard ninth hole using a 3-wood. His feat was witnessed by Neil Mayo, Bob Blanchette and Doug Craib.

Woody Ward aced the 170-yard seventh hole at Willowdale Golf Course on Oct. 5. Ward used a 5-iron for the shot, which was witnessed by Jim Caron, Jerry Dimillo and George Doucette.

Sue Raymond carded a hole-in-one on the 11th hole at Falmouth Country Club on Oct. 5. Raymond used an 8-iron for the 109-yard shot, which was witnessed by Diana Wescott, Maureen Wedge and Sue Grady.

Mark Snyder, wielding an 8-iron, made a hole-in-one from 140 yards on the sixth hole at Nonesuch River on Oct. 5. John Beatty and Dan Dalfonso witnessed the shot.

Chad Brown of Old Orchard Beach used an 8-iron to ace the seventh hole at South Portland Municipal Golf Course on Oct. 5. The shot was witnessed by Fred Skillin and Dave Roach.
