FREEPORT - Kayla Rose scored two goals Thursday to lead North Yarmouth Academy to a 5-1 victory against Freeport in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game.

After Emily Sturtevant scored for Freeport (4-3), Rose answered with consecutive goals. Jen Brown, Marina Poole and Juliana Tardiff added goals for NYA (7-1).
Tallie Martin collected 16 saves for Freeport.
MT. VIEW 1, OCEANSIDE 0: Kersey Boulay scored with 21:50 left in the first half and the Mustangs (6-2) held off the Mariners (4-2-1) at Thorndike.
TRAIP ACADEMY 1, POLAND 0: Kaylie Andrews scored off a corner by Caitlyn Vera to lift the Rangers (5-3) over the Knights (2-4-1) at Poland.
Emily Bolton recorded five saves for the shutout.
CAPE ELIZABETH 5, GREELY 4: Abby McInerney had two goals and an assist, and Jane Coffrin added one goal and two assists as the Capers (4-3) edged the Rangers (2-6-1) at Cumberland.
Rachel Hanson had three goals and an assist for Greely.
MT. ARARAT 10, MESSALONSKEE 0: Emily York and Kristy Bernatchez each finished with three goals and one assist, and Lynnae Luettich scored twice as Messalonskee (6-1) downed Mt. Ararat (5-3) at Waterville.
WAYNFLETE 4, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Elizabeth Berthy, Nyanen Deng, Merilla Michael and Josephine Moore scored for Waynflete (5-3), and Mackenzie Rague for the Seagulls (0-8) at Old Orchard Beach.
Katherine Torrey had five saves for Waynflete. Colleen Dyer made 17 saves for the Seagulls.
YORK 2, FALMOUTH 2: Kelsey Elsemore scored with 2:12 left to help York (5-1-1) tie the Yachtsmen (3-3-2) at Falmouth.

GORHAM 5, BIDDEFORD 0: Kali St. Germain scored twice as the Rams (5-2) shut out the Tigers (3-3-1) at Biddeford.

MARSHWOOD 3, NOBLE 1: Amelia Jule, Jillian Gori and Tanya Thomas scored for the Hawks (1-5-1) against the Knights (1-6) at South Berwick.
MCAULEY 3, BONNY EAGLE 0: Delaney Regan, Maddie Wade and Sarah Clement scored for the Lions (1-5) against the Scots (1-6) at Portland.
MEDOMAK VALLEY 2, BELFAST 0: Lexi Genthner and Elise Wallace scored as the Panthers (4-2-1) beat the Lions (1-6) at Waldoboro.
MORSE 8, MT. VIEW 0: Miracle Trimble scored three goals, and Paige Martin added two goals and an assist as the Shipbuilders (5-1-1) beat the Mustangs (0-7-1) at Bath.
SANFORD 1, MASSABESIC 0: Hannah Kallis set up Allie Legere early in the first half and the Spartans (7-0) went on to beat the Mustangs (3-4) at Sanford.
WINDHAM 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Lauren Shoemaker scored a pair of goals 30 seconds apart to break a scoreless first half and lead the Eagles (7-0) past the Red Riots (2-5) at South Portland.
WAYNFLETE 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Wal-ker Foehl tied it for Waynflete (4-0-2) on a corner kick that deflected off a defender and into the net late in the second half against the Patriots (2-3-1) at Portland.
WELLS 3, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Sophie Lamb scored her second goal on a 40-yard shot with 12 seconds remaining to lift the Warriors (1-3-1) over the Rangers (0-5) at Wells.
WESTBROOK 2, PORTLAND 1: Katie Clark and Marissa Martel scored for the Blue Blazes (2-4) against the Bulldogs (1-5) at Westbrook.
THORNTON ACADEMY 4, DEERING 0: Tori Daigle had a pair of goals as the Golden Trojans (7-0) downed the Rams (4-2) at Saco.
