YARMOUTH – Olivia Madore scored with 17:24 left in the first half Monday as North Yarmouth Academy edged Yarmouth 1-0 in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game.

Elizabeth Coughlin of NYA (9-1-1) made five saves for the shutout; Meaghan Gorman made eight saves for Yarmouth (6-4-1).

DEERING 4, PORTLAND 0: Mia Thurston, Amanda LeMoult, Kaytlin DiBiase and Emily Krabbe scored to lead the Rams (4-7-1) over the visiting Bulldogs (3-8) at Portland.

Thurston scored unassisted early in the first half before Krabbe added another on a feed from Rylie Turner.

LeMoult had an unassisted goal just before the half and DiBiase added another unassisted goal early in the second half.

Gianna Gaudet finished with six saves for Portland. Sadie Rhinehardt needed two saves for the shutout.

YORK 7, POLAND 0: Taylor Simpson and Devon Datsis each scored a pair of goals as the Wildcats (11-0) cruised to a win over the Knights (2-9) at York.

Olivia Golini made four saves to record the shutout. Poland goalie Liz Callahan finished with 12 saves.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

MADISON 8, BOOTHBAY 0: Whitney Lloyd scored four goals and Madeline Wood added a pair to lead the Bulldogs (8-1-1) over the host Seahawks (0-9-1).

Kayla Bess and Emily Oliver also scored for Madison. Bess added two assists.

Jaime Wheeler had eight saves for Boothbay.

RICHMOND 9, BANGOR CHRISTIAN 0: Amber Loon scored four goals, and Kelsea Anair added two goals and two assists to lead the Bobcats (8-1) over the host Patriots (1-4-3).

Miranda Martin scored a goal and two assists, and Kayla Beaulieu, Kelsie Obie and Kyla Johansen also scored for Richmond.

CARRABEC 5, LISBON 2: Brooklynne Lewis scored three goals to lead the Cobras (6-4-1) over the Greyhounds (5-5).

Mickayla Willette and Emily Witham also scored for the Cobras. Mercedes Welch made three saves.

Delia Schreiber had both goals for Lisbon. Paige Galligan added an assist. Alexandra Sult made four saves.
