The Rangers had converted three 3-pointers in the first period to stay within six points, 21-15, but couldn't get their shots against the extended defense in the second.


BUCKFIELD 31, SACOPEE VALLEY 30: Morgan Sanborn scored 11 points and Bailey Marden 10 as the Hawks (9-7) edged the Bucks (3-13) in Buckfield.


MT. ARARAT 67, SKOWHEGAN 46: Mallory Nelson and Kristy Willey scored 19 points each to lead the Eagles (12-3) over the Indians (7-8) at Topsham.

Nelson scored 10 points in the second quarter and Willey added seven as Mt. Ararat went on a 21-11 run to pull ahead.


PORTLAND 55, NOBLE 31: Brianna Holdren scored 14 points as the Bulldogs (5-10) downed the visiting Knights (1-15).

Pamela Lobor added 10 for the Bulldogs, who outscored the Knights 31-12 in the second half.


GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 57, POLAND 49: Michele Dehetre's sank a pair of 3-pointers to give the Patriots (11-4) a 6-1 lead, and Grace Ferguson scored 10 during the first half for a 25-14 lead over the Knights (5-10) entering the third quarter in Gray.

Gray-NG increased the lead to 38-22 in the third before the Knights pulled closer with a 27-19 rally in the fourth.

Ferguson finished with 16 points, and Dehetre 12. Emily Bolduc scored 21 for Poland. Hope Kohtala added 14.


RANGELEY 57, PINE TREE ACADEMY 24: Tori Letarte scored a game-high 22 points and had five steals to lead the Lakers (13-1) over the Breakers (1-12) in Freeport.

Abby Abbott and Blayke Morin each had a double-double for Rangeley. Abbott scored 13 points and had 14 rebounds and Morin had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Beckie McGuire led Pine Tree with 10 points.


OCEANSIDE 57, WINSLOW 48: Kennadi Grover and Hannah Plourde each scored 16 points as the Mariners (14-1) beat the visiting Black Raiders (6-9).

Brooke Dugan added 14 points for Oceanside.

Devin Fitzgibbons had 15 points and Erica Bertolaccini had 13 for Winslow.


MARANACOOK 45, MEDOMAK VALLEY 41: Christine Miller scored 21 points as the Black Bears (10-5) beat the Panthers (4-10) in Readfield.

Catherine Sanborn added nine points for Maranacook and Samantha Griffin led Medomak with 13 points.


MONMOUTH 42, WISCASSET 33: Kylie Kemp scored 18 points to lead the Mustangs (11-3) over the Wolverines (3-11) in Wiscasset.

Kayla Gordon led the Wolverines with 10 points.


EDWARD LITTLE 65, ERSKINE ACADEMY 29: Kory Norcroft scored 12 points to lead the Red Eddies (12-3) over the Eagles (0-15) in South China.


CONY 58, LEWISTON 52: Josie Lee had 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists as the Rams (9-6) beat the Blue Devils (4-11) in Lewiston.

Hayley Quirion added 12 points and six steals for the Rams.


GREELY 11, ST. DOMINIC 2: Paige Tuller had four goals and an assist to propel the Rangers (13-2-1) past the Saints (6-11) at Cumberland.

Meg Finlay added three goals and three assists and Danita Storey had two goals for Greely.
