PORTLAND — Graham Mink scored his eighth goal of the season with 1:58 left in the second period to left the red-hot Providence Bruins to a 3-2 win against the Portland Pirates in an AHL game at the Cumberland County Civic Center Wednesday night.

 

The Bruins, who now have won 20 of their last 26 games, took a 2-0 lead during the first 26 minutes on goals by Ryan Spooner and Craig Cunningham.

Rookie Jordan Martinook and Ethan Werek scored goals nine seconds part to tie the score with less than eight minutes left in the second period.
