BRUINS NOTES: The Bruins, who had a two-game winning streak snapped by a 3-2 loss to Worcester on Saturday, already have beaten the Pirates twice this season. Left wing Chris Bourque, the reigning AHL scoring champion, has a four-game goal-scoring streak. Left wing Justin Florek has a goal in each of his last two games, and center Carter Camper has five assists in his last four games.

PIRATES NOTES: The Pirates have won eight of their last nine. In winning his last three starts, rookie goalie Mark Visentin has compiled a 1.00 goals-against average and a .960 save percentage. Left wing Rob Klinkhammer and defenseman Michael Stone each have a three-game points streak. In his last six games, Andy Miele has four goals and two assists.
