FALMOUTH — Jacob Gross scored the tiebreaking goal with 6:21 remaining and Dalton Finley made 28 saves Tuesday night to lead Scarborough to a 2-1 win over Falmouth in a schoolboy hockey game at Family Ice.
Garrett McDonald scored a power-play goal in the second period, then assisted on the winner for the Red Storm (16-1), who entered the game ranked second in Western Class A.
Kris Samaras tied it for top-ranked Falmouth (14-3) in the third period.
GORHAM 12, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Spence Cowand had two goals and an assist, and Mick Mansir and Jordan Ward also scored two goals apiece as the Rams (10-6-1) rolled past the Red Riots (2-15) at Portland.
Tucker Buteau and Travis Mansir each chipped in a goal and three assists, and Matt Roy scored his first varsity goal as time expired.
Andrew Whipple scored for South Portland.
CAMDEN HILLS 5, ORONO 2: Grayson Szumilas had two goals and Jet Magri made 23 saves as the Windjammers (14-3) handled the Red Riots (8-9-1) at Orono.
Cal Robbins and Steve Hand each added a goal and an assist, and Chase Matteo also scored for the Windjammers, who scored four in the third period.
Michael Fowler and Nick Nadeau scored for Orono.
