SOUTH PORTLAND - Danny Fox scored one goal and set up the other Tuesday night as South Portland downed Marshwood 2-0 in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game.

Fox assisted Caleb Elsmore for the Red Riots (8-3-3)
Ben Burkey made 11 saves for the win. Matt Brenner stopped seven shots for the Hawks (8-5-1).
BELFAST 5, MT. VIEW 4: Ryan Rice scored with five seconds left in the second overtime to lift Belfast (8-4-2) over the Mustangs (9-4-1) at Thorndike.
FREEPORT 1, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Jack Davenport one-timed a through ball from Nick Nelsonwood to lift the Falcons (3-9-2) over the Patriots (6-6-2) at Freeport.
Brendan Qualls made three saves for the Falcons. Jake LaCerda stopped five shots for the Patriots.
DEERING 3, SANFORD 0: Ben Peterson had two goals, and Stephen Ochan added a goal and an assist as Deering (8-3-3) beat the Spartans (0-13-1) at Sanford.
SCARBOROUGH 3, MASSABESIC 0: Trevor Sparda scored two goals and assisted on the other, leading the Red Storm (12-0-2) over Massabesic (4-9-1) at Scarborough.
Dan Ornstein also scored.
Pat Stanton and Sam Warren combined for four saves for the Red Storm.
PORTLAND 3, THORNTON ACADEMY 1: Tim Rovnak scored twice and Sam Farr had two assists as the Bulldogs (6-7-1) downed the Golden Trojans (6-8) at Portland.
Rovnak scored after just 10 seconds, then made it 2-1 when he converted a feed from Farr at the 10-minute mark.
Darius Nytacyo scored in the seventh minute for Thornton.
KENNEBUNK 4, BIDDEFORD 1: Robby Burns scored twice as Kennebunk (9-2-3) opened a 4-0 halftime lead against the Tigers (2-11-1) at Biddeford.
Jake Lary added a goal and an assist for the Rams, and Lucas Butterfield a goal.
Lucas Peterman's goal with six minutes left broke the shutout.
John Burns had one saves for Kennebunk, and Josh McCauley eight for Biddeford.
WELLS 2, POLAND 1: Sam LaPointe scored two goals for the Warriors (4-10) against Poland (3-8-3) at Wells.
Alex Corcoran answered for the Knights.
WINDHAM 6, BONNY EAGLE 0: Marc Reynolds had three goals, Jacapo Secchi added a goal and an assist and Hunter Perkins also scored for the Eagles (10-4) against the Scots (2-12) at Windham.
