STANDISH - Michael Bolanz is leaving as coach of the women's soccer team at St. Joseph's College to become the college's alumni relations director.
Bolanz, a 2000 graduate of St. Joseph's, led the Monks to a 97-54-17 record in nine seasons, giving him the most coaching wins in the program's 25-year history.
Bolanz coached teams to the NCAA Division III Northeast Region Independent Championships in 2004 and 2005, and to ECAC tournament berths in 2006 and 2007. His 2010 and 2011 teams earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic honors.
He was inducted into the St. Joseph's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
Bolanz will start in his new role in the Institutional Advancement Department on Monday.
