The 12th annual SMAA Playday ran from 8:30 a.m. until a bit after 7 p.m. Each team was slotted into a four-team group and played three 20-minute, running-time games.

The 14-game regular season begins Wednesday, Sept. 4. This year, teams will play a full-length exhibition game against the one team not on their regular season schedule. Those games will be played this Thursday and Friday.
