BIDDEFORD - Haley DaGraca and Amanda Arnold each had a goal and an assist Wednesday to lead undefeated Thornton Academy to a 4-1 victory against Biddeford in an SMAA schoolgirl soccer game.

Ayla Tartre of McAuley runs down a loose ball while being pursued by Hailey Tarr of Marshwood, which came away with a 2-0 victory.
Allie Coburn converted a penalty kick and Courtney O'Brien also scored for the Golden Trojans (8-0).
Lexi Paquette answered for the Tigers (3-4-1).
MARSHWOOD 2, MCAULEY 0: Gianna Riccardi scored both goals and Macy Morrison made 15 saves for the Hawks (3-5-1) against the Lions (1-7) at Portland.
Molly Miller made 19 saves for the Lions.
LAKE REGION 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Cece Hancock put in a pass from Tiana Carter with 10 minutes left in the first half and the Lakers (3-3-1) went on to shut out the Raiders (0-7-1) at Naples.
MASSABESIC 2, NOBLE 1: Heather Everett and Kathleen Duffy scored to lead the Mustangs (4-4) past the Knights (1-8) at Waterboro.
Haley Binette assisted on Duffy's goal that made it 2-0 with 10 minutes gone in the second half. Amber Kelly scored for Noble three minutes later.
WESTBROOK 2, BONNY EAGLE 1: Sophie Manning had a goal and an assist to help the Blue Blazes (3-5) beat the Scots (1-8) at Westbrook.
Manning scored in the first half from Jenessa Corbett, then set up Marissa Martel's goal in the second. Desiree Wright scored from Kendyll Martin late for Bonny Eagle.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Julia Martell scored the final goal with 14:49 left to help the Patriots (2-5-2) tie the Seagulls (5-1-3) at Gray.
Ay Twohig and Olivia Dubois scored in the first half for the Seagulls. Michaela MacDonald had a goal for Gray-New Gloucester.
POLAND 1, FREEPORT 0: Emma Turton scored two minutes into overtime to lift the Knights (4-2-1) over the Falcons (4-5) at Poland.
Turton took a through ball from Emily Bolduc and beat one defender before shooting past Freeport goalkeeper Aubrey Pennell.
BOYS' SOCCER
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, WELLS 0: Austin Carson, Will Bartlett and Tyler St. Pierre had goals for Gray-New Gloucester (4-3-2) against the Warriors (2-7) at Wells.
Jake Street had two assists for Gray-New Gloucester.
FREEPORT 4, POLAND 2: The Falcons (2-6-1) built a 4-0 lead and beat the Knights (1-6-1) at Freeport.
Parker Matheson, Landon Easler, Connor Dietrich and Jack Davenport scored for Freeport. Alex Corcoran converted a penalty kick and Nate Morin also scored for Poland.
FIELD HOCKEY
MASSABESIC 5, BIDDEFORD 3: Jackie Guillemette had two goals and an assist to lead the Mustangs (8-1) over the Tigers (2-5-2) at Biddeford.
Guillemette got the winning goal from Hannah Patch and Alex Staples.
LAKE REGION 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Meg Skarbinski knocked a deflected ball out of the air and into the cage with less than eight minutes left in the first half as Lake Region (10-0) beat the Raiders (8-1) at Fryeburg.
