KITTERY - Corey Aldecoa and Devon Draker each rushed for more than 100 yards Saturday to lead Traip Academy to a 45-0 victory against Telstar in a Western Class C football opener.
Traip led 21-0 after one quarter. Aldecoa opened the scoring with a 15-yard run and finished with two touchdowns. Draker scored once.
Traip quarterback Chris Czachor completed 4 of 5 passes for 100 yards.
OCEANSIDE 34, NOKOMIS 27: Sam Meklin threw for four touchdowns, rushed for another, and added a rushing conversion and a passing conversion to lead the Mariners in an opener at Rockland.
Chandler Foss threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third for Nokomis.
MORSE 39, CAMDEN HILLS 6: D'Vaughn Myers rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and also caught a 63-yard touchdown pass from Kevin McKeller as the Shipbuilders won an opener at Bath.
McKeller added two rushing touchdowns and finished with 119 yards on 11 carries, and James Laser rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown on four carries.
Myers added 14 tackles on defense, and McKeller had a pair of interceptions and forced a fumble.
Morse also got 10 tackles and one fumble recovery from Mike Bonzagni and nine tackles from Kaleb Snowdon.
Alex Crans scored for Camden Hills on a 60-yard run in the fourth quarter.
SCARBOROUGH 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Dillon Burns scored the tying goal from Ahmed Suja with nine minutes left in regulation as South Portland earned a draw in its season opener against visiting Scarborough.
Scarborough's Austin Downing scored on an assist from Trevor Sparda three minutes into the game. The Red Riots tied it midway through the first half when Suja assisted on a goal by Damjan Draskovic.
Scarborough regained the lead on a goal by Sam Cekada with 10 minutes left in regulation.
Ben Burkey finished with nine saves for South Portland. Pat Stanton of Scarborough had four saves.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, POLAND 1: Will Bartlett scored the go-ahead goal 3:11 into the second half as the Patriots beat the Knights in a season opener at Poland.
Josh Kane opened the scoring for Gray-New Gloucester 5:51 into the game. Tyler St. Pierre added an insurance goal late in the second half.
Poland tied the game on a goal by Shawn Mitchell.
