BIDDEFORD — Kristen Murray and Alyssa Hulst tallied two goals apiece, and Scarborough scored four second-period goals to pull away from Biddeford for a 5-0 hockey victory Saturday at Biddeford Ice Arena.

Murray also had an assist. Rachel Wallace added a goal and two assists as Scarborough moved to 6-0. Biddeford is 4-3.

YORK 6, CHEVERUS 3: Rachel Yorke had pair of goals and an assist as the Wildcats (5-1) scored six straight goals to rally past the Stags (1-4-1) at Rochester Ice Arena.

Kendall Carr, Addie Fredette, Olivia Leroux and Tori Stocks also scored for the Wildcats, and Olivia Drew finished with 31 saves.

Cheverus raced out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Katie Roy and Jill Hannigan in the first three minutes.

ST. DOMINIC 4, PORTLAND/DEERING 3: Kayla McClellan scored a pair of goals and also had an assist as the Saints (2-4) held off the Bulldogs (1-5-1) at Portland Ice Arena.

Drew Barry scored all three Portland goals.

GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 2, YARMOUTH/FREEPORT 1: Rachel Litif scored her second goal of the game at 5:02 of the third period to give Gorham/Bonny Eagle (3-3) the edge on Yarmouth/Freeport (2-4-1) at Gorham.

Litif opened the scoring at 5:05 of the first. Katie Brown answered in the second.

CAPE ELIZABETH/WAYNFLETE 2, FALMOUTH 1: Madeline Ciraldo opened the scoring midway through the first period and Julia Ginder added the winner 6:39 into the second as the Capers (3-2-1) edged Falmouth (4-4) at Family Ice.

Falmouth tied the score on a goal by Abby Payson with 2:42 left in the first period.

Lily Jordan finished with 46 saves for the Capers, who were outshot 47-9 overall and 23-0 in the scoreless third period.

BASKETBALL

WELLS 43, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 42: Alison Furness scored 13 points and Sophie Lamb added 12 as the Warriors (2-2) held off the Seagulls (2-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

Trailing 43-40, Old Orchard Beach missed a potential tying 3-pointer before making a pair of free throws to cut the deficit to one in the final seconds.

Haley Plante made three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points to lead the Seagulls.

YORK 70, YARMOUTH 47: Ruby Cribby scored 23 points and Marquis MacGlashing nearly recorded a triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks as the Wildcats (4-0) cruised past the Clippers (0-4) at York.

Sean Cahill finished with 16 points to pace Yarmouth.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 45, CAPE ELIZABETH 42: Maria Valente scored 17 points and hit a pair free throws to break a tie with less than 30 seconds remaining as the Patriots (3-0) edged the Capers (1-2) at Cape Elizabeth.

Anna Goldstein had 11 points for the Capers, who tied it on a free throw by Kisa Tabery with less than a minute left.

GREELY 54, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 29: Ashley Storey scored 17 points, and the Rangers (3-1) raced out to a 32-12 halftime lead against the Raiders (0-3) at Fryeburg.

CHEVERUS 42, PORTLAND 17: Mikayla Mayberry scored nine points to lead 10 scorers for Cheverus (3-0) at Portland (0-4).

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 41, BOOTHBAY 37: Emily Keene made four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points as the Phoenix (4-0) edged the Seahawks (2-2) at Livermore Falls.

Boothbay was led by Sarah Caron with 12 points.

LAKE REGION 45, FREEPORT 27: Tiana-Jo Carter finished with 15 points, 20 rebounds and five blocked shots as the Lakers (4-0) downed the Falcons (1-2) at Naples.

Nina Davenport scored 10 points for Freeport.

WAYNFLETE 48, SACOPEE VALLEY 17: Martha Veroneau scored 18 points and Juliana Harwood chipped in with 12 as the Flyers (3-1) downed the Hawks (1-3) at South Hiram.

TRAIP ACADEMY 55, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 19: Alli Barrett scored seven of her 15 points in the first quarter as the Rangers (2-2) raced out to a 22-4 lead in a win over the Panthers (0-4) at Kittery.

MASSABESIC 47, NOBLE 34: The Mustangs (1-2) opened the second half with a 15-8 run to pull away from the Knights (0-4) at North Berwick.

Erica Guimond paced Massabesic with 13 points. Noble was led by Chandler Waterman with 12 points.

ISLESBORO 42, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 30: Allie Craig scored seven of her 14 points in the first quarter, helping the Eagles (3-2) take a 14-7 lead over the Guardians (0-4) at South Berwick.

Kylene DeSmith scored 18 for Seacoast Christian.

MADISON 42, OAK HILL 39: Sam Bruce scored six points in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs (4-0) rallied to beat the Raiders (0-3) at Wales.

Bruce finished with 17 points.

Hayley Marshall had 17 points for Oak Hill.

PRESQUE ISLE 71, OLD TOWN 23: Hannah Graham scored 14 points and Megan Ireland added 13 for the Wildcats (3-0) in a win over the Coyotes (2-1) at Old Town.
