FALMOUTH – Sadie Cole scored four goals Friday night to lead undefeated Waynflete to a 10-8 victory against Falmouth in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Walker Foehl added two goals for the Flyers (4-0).

The Yachtsmen (3-2) tied the game twice but the Flyers moved back into a two-goal lead in the final five minutes of the game.

Sabrina Smithwick and Angela Mallis scored three goals each for Falmouth.

THORNTON ACADEMY 11, GORHAM 9: Katelyn Pierson had four goals and two assists as the Golden Trojans (4-1) downed the Rams (3-2) in a game at Gorham.

Amanda Cook had three goals, and Carly McKenna added two goals and two assists for Thornton.

Kali St. Germain led Gorham with five goals and two assists, followed by Shannon Folan, who had two goals to go with two assists.

Allie McCarthy made six saves for the Trojans. Maddie Hamlben stopped 14 shots for the Rams.

MASSABESIC 7, MARSHWOOD 6: Rayne Whitten and Haley Binette scored two goals apiece to help the Mustangs (3-1) down the Hawks (3-2) at South Berwick.

Heather Everett, Jacqueline Guillemette and Alexis Foglio also scored for Massabesic, which held a 5-2 lead at halftime.

Alli Schoff scored three times for Marshwood. Lindsey Poirier had two goals, and Korinne Bohunsky added a goal and two assists.

WESTBROOK 11, SANFORD 8: Brittany Arsenault and Micaela LeBeau scored three goals apiece as Westbrook (2-3) beat the Spartans (0-5) at Sanford.

Emma Riley and Katie Berry chipped in with two goals apiece for the Blue Blazes.

SOUTH PORTLAND 18, NOBLE 8: Lani Edwards scored eight goals to lead South Portland (2-2) over the Knights (0-4) at North Berwick.

Shae O’Brien added three goals and an assist for the Red Riots, and Aimee LaPlante, Brianna Maloney and Jenn Wing scored twice each.

Alexandra Sardinha, Alaina Shorey and Marissa Goodrich came up with two goals apiece for Noble.

MORSE 16, LINCOLN ACADEMY 4: Sophie Sreden scored four goals and Sadia Crosby had three to pace the Shipbuilders (2-2) against the Eagles (0-5) at Newcastle.

Ruth Nadeau added two goals and two assists, and Paige Martin and Zoe Simard also scored two goals apiece for Morse.

Tess Fields had three goals for Lincoln Academy.

YARMOUTH 16, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 4: Emma Torres had five goals and assisted on another as the Clippers (2-3) handled the visiting Panthers (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Julie Kameisha had three goals and two assists, and Alex Lucas finished with three goals and one assist for Yarmouth.

Olivia Madore led NYA with three goals.

CHEVERUS 14, DEERING 1: Abby Biegel had three goals and an assist as Cheverus (3-1) downed visiting Deering (1-4) at Portland.

Mary Kate Walsh also scored three goals and Emily Duff finished with eight saves for the Stags.

MT. ARARAT 12, BRUNSWICK 5: Carly Raymond scored three goals to lead the Eagles (3-2) over the Dragons (1-4) at Brunswick.
