WELLS — Dylan Stevens scored four points in overtime, including a key three-point play, to lift Wells to a 63-60 win over Old Orchard Beach in a Western Maine Conference basketball game Saturday.

Jake Moody scored 30 points to pace the Warriors (3-1). Stevens finished with 16 points.

OOB (0-2) was led by Quincy Grace with 18 points. 

LAKE REGION 58, FREEPORT 38: Mike Triglione scored 16 points, including three 3-pointers, and Quinn Piland added 12 points to lead the Lakers (2-2) over the Falcons (1-2) at Freeport.

Lake Region took control with a 13-0 run over the final four minutes of the second quarter, then outscored Freeport 13-4 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

Chandler Birmingham scored 14 points for Freeport. Jack Davenport added eight points and 11 rebounds.

GREELY 65, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 59: Bailey Train had 25 points and seven rebounds, and Michael McDevitt added 14 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Rangers (2-2) past the visiting Raiders (0-3).

Train scored 15 in the second quarter, leading Greely on a 21-10 run for a 33-25 halftime lead.

Conner Hanley finished with 15 points for the Rangers. Bright Amoako scored 23 for the Raiders. 

CAPE ELIZABETH 64, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 38: Henry Babcock scored 10 of his 20 points in the first quarter as the Capers (2-1) raced out to a 26-11 lead over the Patriots (1-2) in a win at Gray.

David Chanlatte and Justin McKenna scored nine points apiece for Gray-NG. 

FALMOUTH 68, POLAND 35: Jackson Simonds and Charles Fay combined for 25 points to help Falmouth (4-0) win at Poland (0-4).

Fay scored eight of his 12 in the second quarter, when the Yachtsmen used a 23-10 run to go up 41-23.

Grant Burfeind added 10 points for Falmouth. CJ Martin had 12 for Poland. 

TRAIP ACADEMY 58, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 41: Atencio Martin scored 15 points to lead the Rangers (2-2) past the visiting Panthers (1-3).

Traip used a 20-9 second-quarter run to take a 30-15 lead. 

WAYNFLETE 71, SACOPEE VALLEY 33: Serge Nyirikamba scored 12 of his 20 points in the first quarter as the Flyers (4-0) ran out to a 33-9 lead over the Hawks (0-4) at Portland.

Jack Cutler added 13 points for Waynflete, including nine in the first quarter.

Alex Fenderson scored 11 points for Sacopee Valley. 

A.R. GOULD 65, NORTH HAVEN 53: Zacharia Mohamed scored 31 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead the Bears (2-1) over the Hawks (3-2) at South Portland.

Tim Robertson and Chris Thomas added 12 points apiece. Robertson also had 10 rebounds.

JONESPORT-BEALS 64, DEER ISLE-STONINGTON 58: Garet Beal scored 42 points, but the Royals needed four free throws from Tom Beal in the final minute of overtime to secure a win over the visiting Mariners (2-1) in a rematch of last season’s Eastern Class D final.

Sam Grindle paced Deer Isle-Stonington with 22 points. Nathan Davis added 15.

VALLEY 77, VINALHAVEN 63: Carrington Miller recorded a triple-double in leading the Cavaliers (3-1) to a win at Bingham.

Miller had 30 points, 11 rebounds, 11 steals and eight assists. Josh West added 24 points and Seth Malloy had 11.

For Vinalhaven (0-5), Scott James scored 17 points, Austin Christiansen 13 and Bryon Thomas 12.

HOCKEY

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, ST. DOM’S 1: The Trojans (2-0) got goals from Justin Cloutier and Drew Lavigne to open a 2-0 lead, and Alex Fallon’s empty-netter in the final minute clinched a win over the Saints (1-2) at Biddeford Ice Arena.

CAPE ELIZABETH 4, PORTLAND/DEERING 1: Chris Grennon and Brandon Negele each collected a goal and an assist as the Capers (1-1-1) pulled away from the Bulldogs (1-2) at Portland Ice Arena.

Jack Drinan and Satchell McCarthy also scored for the Capers, who got two goals in the final 42 seconds.

Portland’s Chris Eye tied the game midway through the first period. 

SCARBOROUGH 11, YORK 0: Jack Rousselle scored four goals and Garrett McDonald and Matt Henderson each added two as the Red Storm (2-1) beat the Wildcats (2-2) at Dover, N.H.

Cam Loiselle and Nick Bagley chipped in a goal and three assists apiece. 

KENNEBUNK 6, NOBLE/WELLS 3: Ryan Keefe scored twice and Mike LeBlanc made 34 saves for the Rams (1-2), who overcame a 2-0 deficit with three goals in the second period, then held off the Knights (1-3) at Rochester, N.H.

James Ross made it a two-goal lead at 6:22 of the third. Ryan Marsh scored his third goal of the game two minutes later to bring Noble/Wells within one, but Nick Manuel and Bryce Fraser scored empty-net goals in the final 1:16. 

BONNY EAGLE 7, WINDHAM/SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Derek Driscoll and Travis Rogers each had two goals and an assist for the Scots (3-0), who scored five unanswered goals in the first seven minutes of the third period to down the Wings (1-2) at Gorham.

Shayne Plummer added a goal and four assists, and Josh Bagley had a goal and three assists.

Owen Phillips and Zack Callahan scored for Windham/Sacopee Valley. 

GORHAM 8, WATERVILLE 2: The Rams scored seven goals in the first two periods en route a win at Colby College.

Chris Hardy had two goals and an assist, Blake Babineau contributed a goal and two assists, and Justin Broy made 37 saves for Gorham (2-2). 

BRUNSWICK 5, CONY 0: Blake Alexander made 27 saves and five players scored for the Dragons (2-1) in a win over the Rams (1-2) at Hallowell.

Parker Wild, Cam Heatley and Ryan Maciejewski each had a goal and an assist. Tyler Sullivan and Matt Brooks also scored.

GARDINER 4, YARMOUTH 1: Alex Nadeau scored a pair of goals and assisted on two others as the Tigers (1-2-1) got three first-period goals in a win over the Clippers (0-3-1) at Yarmouth.

William Porter scored Yarmouth’s goal in the third period. 

CAMDEN HILLS 6, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 2: Stephen Hand and Jack Orne each finished with two goals and an assist, and Grayson Szumilas added three assists to lead the Windjammers (3-0) over the Broncos (0-2) at Midcoast Recreation Center.

James Annis and Simon Lydon also scored for Camden Hills. 

MESSALONSKEE 12, PRESQUE ISLE 2: J.T. Towle and Jake Dexter each had a hat trick as the Eagles (3-0) beat the Wildcats (1-3) at Presque Isle.

Chase and Jared Cunningham each finished with two goals and four assists. Towle had two assists to go along with his three goals.

Tyler Seeley and Adam Flynn scored for Presque Isle.
