WINDHAM – Spencer Hodge and Zach Conley hit two-run singles during a five-run sixth inning Thursday as Windham rallied to a 5-2 victory against Gorham in an SMAA baseball game.

Shawn Francoeur struck out eight and walked one in a six-hitter for the Eagles (12-2).

Elliott Spiers had a pair of hits, including a double, and drove in both runs for Gorham (9-5).

YORK 3, WELLS 2: Adam Legg hit an RBI single with one out in the top of the eighth inning to lift the Wildcats (11-3) over the Warriors (3-12) at Wells.

York starter Daniel Bock scattered eight hits with eight strikeouts over seven innings to earn the win. Aaron Todd struck out two in a scoreless eighth.

Bock and Anthony Sciaudone finished with two hits apiece for the Wildcats.

Wells got its runs in the third when Connor Pease hit an RBI double following an RBI single by Charlie Bell.

Bennie McMinis struck out 11 and scattered 10 hits for Wells.

OCEANSIDE 6, LINCOLN ACADEMY 4: Zac Roman smacked a two-run double during a five-run first inning for the Mariners (9-6), who then held off the Eagles (7-7) at Rockland.

J.T. Tobin doubled in Roman, an error allowed the fourth run to score and Thomas Curtis added an RBI in the first.

BUCKFIELD 5, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 3: Kennan Stockdale had a two-run double as the Bucks (9-1) beat the Seagulls (5-9) at Old Orchard Beach.

Stockdale’s double sparked a three-run sixth inning for Buckfield that wiped out Old Orchard’s 3-2 lead.

Bucks pitcher Jonah Williams struck out 10 with one walk.

THORNTON ACADEMY 6, SANFORD 2: Alex Fallon drove in two runs for the Trojans (8-6), who scored four runs in the eighth inning against the Spartans (4-10) at Sanford.

Ryder Kenny led off the eighth with a double and scored on the Fallon double. Thornton added three runs on a fielder’s choice and a pair of errors.

BELFAST 5, MEDOMAK VALLEY 3: Damion Benner and Steve Paul each had two hits and drove in two runs for the Lions (6-7), who scored four runs in the second inning and held off the Panthers (2-12) at Belfast.

BIDDEFORD 6, BONNY EAGLE 2: Corey Brown had two doubles with an RBI and scored twice as the Tigers (6-8) got past the Scots (4-10) at Biddeford.

Patrick Wilson scattered four hits and struck out three over six innings for Biddeford.

MARSHWOOD 12, MASSABESIC 1: Noah McDaniel had two hits and three RBI as Marshwood (13-1) beat the Mustangs (3-11) at Waterboro.

Zach Hodges added two hits and two RBI.

WESTBROOK 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Zach Bean hit a sacrifice fly and the Blue Blazes (11-3) added a run on an error in a two-run first inning against the Red Riots (5-9) at South Portland.

Aaron Duncanson struck out three with no walks in a four-hitter for the Blue Blazes.

KENNEBUNK 3, NOBLE 2: Nick Emmons scored the go-ahead run on a pinch single by Austin Cressey in the sixth inning to lift the Rams (4-10) over the Knights (3-11) at Kennebunk.

Kennebunk took a 2-1 lead in the third on a two-run homer by Kip Richard.

GORHAM 13, WESTBROOK 7: Anthony Capolla had five goals to lift the Rams (4-7) over the Blue Blazes (6-5) at Gorham.

Colin Harvey contributed three goals for Gorham, and Mike Susi and Frank Pappalardo each had a goal and three assists. Matt Petty made 15 saves.

BIDDEFORD 8, WESTBROOK 5: Jake LaFlamme, Connor Morrison and Chipper Trottier each scored twice as the Tigers (2-9) upset the Blue Blazes (6-4) at Biddeford on Wednesday.

Pat Ruck and Cody Sevigny also scored, and Matt Stone stopped 14 shots for Biddeford.
